Z, on a scale from 1 to DNMAD, how much will you rage if Argentina win their next 3 matches which will guarantee Messi his 5th Ballon d'Or?

Luckily I won't have to commit to any comments just yet.
Hopefully Hazard has the game of his life and leads Belgium to the win. Messi will be labeled a flop because he couldn't get things done despite playing for the mighty Argentina

I hope Origi is not too often in a situation where he can have a run at Demichelis, could end badly...

I don't know but I'm backing Argentina for the win, however it will be a slim victory, we already know that the Quarter-finals always went into last minute goal.

Re: [QF] Belgium - Argentina
I tried supporting Belgium in this WC, I really did.But this is unbearable, they can't string 3 passes in attack.Midfielders don't know if they should attack or defend. Kompany constantly making the last ditch tackle.Hazard and KDB being utter garbage and not getting a single pass right.Origi, the Belgium version of Hypes Rodrigues pulling a Fred.

You know what I thought? Why can't those two go out together and instead both Germany and France proceed XDfarfan wrote:what a garbage team. ( belgium that is )

CLzema knows more about big game performances than scrubo killuain will ever learn in 3 lifetimes
also , since when a game against belgium is considered " big " ?

Re: [QF] Belgium - Argentina
Is this by any chance a replay of the France - Germany match?
Because it's basically the same.

Super Pipita there when you need him.
Having said that Argentina are such a fluke team
Belgium have talent but their coach and overall decision making sucks.

A WC quarter final isn't a big game?
Also, LOL at your comment at Belgium being a 'garbage' team.

Re: [QF] Belgium - Argentina
Oh and Hazard is probably the most disappointing young player at the world cup.

Re: [QF] Belgium - Argentina
The most important point is that we have broken our hoodoo. We are in the world cup semi finals after 24 years.
Higuain was a different player today. I liked the overall tactical setup especially from a defensive perspective. Thought Garay had a good game.
That said though as just a follower of the beautiful game I have to ask has there been any world cup in history in which the first three quarter finals were as poor as they were this time? We have to pity those who pay the price to go to the stadium for such matches.

Re: [QF] Belgium - Argentina
jeez what kind of a second half was that by Argentina. The injury to DiMaria really affected them I think.
fair play to Belgium who did everything they could

Most knockout games are pretty dry affairs, as far as I can remember.
