Germany is a different team with Lahm at right back.

Been supporting France since both my nations flunked out of this now boring World Cup. Basques overall feel a great sense of comraderie to them given their close proximity on the border; the Rugby teams of France being supported in particular by us.

I hope they go all the way to win it. Good luck to all the Frenchman on this board. Win or lose, it's been a fantastic tourney for you guys.

This is what happens when you don't call up Nasri. Only player that can emulate what he does was injured.

Griezmann, Pogba, Matuidi and Benzema have been exposed in this World Cup. Pogba still has time on his side though of course.

Anyway, France went out a round too late. Easily the worst game of the tournament, Nigeria would have been a better opponent for the Germans.

Probably the most pathetic elimination from the round of 8 that I can remember. France should be disgusted with themselves for not giving this more of a go.

No fight, no desire, no one looking to make anything happen.

Lots of link up play though.

Am I the only one who notices Lahm gets rekt everytime someone cuts outside? He's a very intelligent and technical right-back but he keeps too much distance from the Attacker.Valbuena and Benzema rekt him a couple a times

Yeah I noticed that as well, Lahm looked uncomfortable in 1v1's.

France going out with out playing at all Laughing where did we see that? oh the Euros...

Blanc, Deshamps all of them cowards mangers. THe decision to sit back in the first half when who ever scoring first was going to win was just lolworthy.

You can say that. They didn't seem mentally ready to make the difference at this level. Balls being under hit or over hit. Forwards a split second late to react. Lack of collective belief. No one really driving the team forward against all odds.

They had a similar problem in Euro 2012. The two key individuals to name for this are Zinedine Zidane and Raymond Domenech. Zidane on the pitch gave France the belief they could do anything. With him gone they lost their football and even more their belief. Domenech has destroyed the team for so many years that it's very hard for the likes of Blanc and Deschamp to rebuild much.

Germany won this at a canter, France offered absolutely nothing in the second half. Zero, nada, zilch, rien.

Stop spamming man.

Yea, if every Arsenal player started in their own team, Arsenal would win the world cup. We get it .
