Re: Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 Part 2
Yeah Uncharted had a really rushed multiplayer mode in UC 2 after the first one was an amazing success, even though it was basic I spent ages playing it, was balanced and fun.
UC 3 MP was great, hope the next one will be the finished product online.
I expect The Order would do something similar as MP is such a huge selling point now.

LMAO RG.
Been watching Nintendo's Treehouse stream, showing gameplay constantly for hours of loads of different of games.
So much better than show a trailer and never be seen again all week stuff, i kinda hope Sony and Microsoft copy it in the future.
Its really engaging and definitely a lot more effective in making games seem enticing then short snippets and cgi here and there.

Some segments at e3 were really disappointing, showing 1 cinematic in-game trailer or people talking about it for 10 minutes doesn't really show us a thing about the gameplay we should expect.

Re: Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 Part 2
Yeah Tom, basically what they been doing is showing extended gameplay of various games and discussing it with the devs for last 5 hours lol and they are doing it for like another 15 hours over next two days.
Really think that style of format would prove an amazing success for Microsoft and Sony and try get some third parties involved.
If they really are confident in their games then it would just provide even better positive PR for them..... i bet there's some games which people are on the fence about due to CGI and short snippets that extended gameplay would help them decide.

I mean that scale something game with the guy with headphones fighting monsters, I didn't fancy it but even if I did that trailer told me absolutely nothing about the gameplay as it was 100% a cinematic. Absolutely nothing was shown basically.
It's ok when games are barely in development and they have nothing substantial to show but I get the feeling a lot of gameplay was held back
Is anything special supposedly happening on E3 tomorrow?

Re: Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 Part 2
No idea, probably nothing else announced just more gameplay from stuff announced( like Batman for example) been even so it won't be that much.
Get the feeling devs get scared of people overreacting to early gameplay so don't show it all lol.

Makes sense I guess but playing it safe is underwhelming especially in brand new IPs where nobody knows a thing about them

Re: Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 Part 2
Uncharted 4 synopsis.
"Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves."

Eurogamer.net wrote:Bloodborne gameplay footage from E3
A minute of Bloodborne gameplay footage has surfaced online, via NeoGAF, having been recorded off-screen from a demo at E3.
It's a brief glimpse but enough to highlight how Bloodborne's setting is different to From Software's Souls games. In Bloodborne the hero is a kind of stereotypical Jack the Ripper, in a long coat and kind of Robin Hood hat, stalking a gloomy Victorian Edinburgh - or something that looks a lot like it - slashing at enemies as murderous as he.
As you'll know from reading our Bloodborne preview, there's no shield-type weapon in Bloodborne, so the combat we see isn't as staccato as in Souls. Instead you dual-wield a cleaver-saw in one hand, and a shotgun in the other.
It's not immediately clear from the footage how deadly the enemies are; the hero takes two big hits but stays on his feet, which is perhaps a telling sign of some kind of god mode being active (it was during our preview).
Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive.
