No way in the world PSG loans Pastore.  No chance.  It's either get a decent price or play him.  They only loan the kids out...  I'm just unhappy that he's blocking Rabiot and others.  But it is what it is.

PSG will only move players to finance an acquisition.  RB and CB are handled.  Now it's all about whether to just stand pat or upgrade.  They may just stand pat.

Sky Sports understands that Newcastle United are in advanced talks over Jack Colback and Ayoze Perez, who both look set to finalise moves to St James' Park.

It is also understood that talks are continuing over French duo Remy Cabella and Bafetimbi Gomis.

Sunderland midfielder Colback has been in talks with a number of clubs since the end of the season, but Newcastle were always his preferred destination and they have now finalised terms with the player.

Colback is expected to undergo his medical shortly, and the 24-year-old will sign a long-term deal on Tyneside.

Like with Colback, the deal for Perez has been expected and Newcastle have also been working on that for a number of weeks.

Perez is currently with Tenerife in Spain, but he has a release clause of £1.8million which Newcastle have already agreed to meet and the 20-year-old, like Colback, is expected in the North East to complete the formalities of his move in the coming days.

Newcastle's penchant for the French market - though - will also continue and Sky Sports understands that talks with Montpellier are now at an advanced stage over Cabella - who is currently with the French squad as he is one of the stand-by players for the World Cup.

Newcastle tried to sign the 24-year-old in January, but he was committed to helping Montpellier avoid relegation before leaving - but he was quick to confirm he would be leaving once the Ligue 1 season had finished.

Sources have told Sky Sports that Newcastle are yet to lodge an official bid, but the two clubs are closing on a deal which could be worth up to €10million.

A possible fourth deal is another familiar name to Newcastle fans, and is French striker Bafetimbi Gomis - who is available on a free transfer from Lyon.

Newcastle have long been fans of the 28-year-old - who had seemed set for a big-money move to Turkey.

However, he has seemingly decided England is where he wants to be and Newcastle are believed to be in pole-position to land Gomis - who had previously priced himself out of a move to Tyneside.

But after talks were reinitiated by Gomis' representatives, Newcastle are close to landing one of their long-term targets.

Newcastle also remain very interested in Hertha Berlin striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga, but one player they are not going to move for is Leeds' Ross McCormack.

He looked good when paired with Thiago Silva and average with anyone else. He's not very fast/agile, so you have to really put him in a controlled environment... and he will do a good job. He's not one that will do well if he needs to do a lot of covering for his CB partner, but he can cover his fullback well enough.

If you guys plan to pair him with Rami, which one goes to the left side? They're both right sided CBs. Not sure the profiles are very complementary tbh.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has refused to rule out a move for Cesc Fabregas, admitting he is looking at the situation.

Barcelona are widely reported to be ready to let Fabregas leave this summer, as he is not believed to be in the plans of new boss Luis Enrique.

Further reports have suggested that former club Arsenal - who have first refusal on Fabregas - have decided against bringing him back to the Emirates.

The likes of Manchester United - who bid for Fabregas last summer - Manchester City and Chelsea are all being suggested as potential suitors for the 27-year-old, who is currently with the Spanish squad ahead of the World Cup finals.

Now Mourinho - talking at a pre World Cup event for Yahoo, for whom he is working for during the tournament in Brazil - has admitted to having a liking for Fabregas, seemingly rubbishing claims that he was not a fan of the midfielder.

"I am interested in studying Fabregas' situation," he is quoted as saying by the Portuguese media.

"I think he is anxious to leave Barcelona and motivated to return to England. I think that is clear."

Mourinho does not believe that Fabregas' future will be resolved ahead of the World Cup.

"Whether he is going to sign for Chelsea or for another club, that is not a a subject to be discussed today, tomorrow or before the World Cup".

Lallana is very good. 25m is probably a fair price for him in this market which is our final offer.

Rakitic and his people decided to dither on signing a new deal in January that would've set his release clause at around €30mil - small enough that teams would actually use it, but big enough that Sevilla would make a massive profit. €20mil on its own is actually a bargain, so I hope they get a player as well; maybe someone like Tello.

30 million euros for Lallana is not a fair marker price although southampton thinks so + the english tax. Rakitic is a miles superior player that could do everything the former can do and beyond. No doubt that if Liverpool actually wanted him he woulve come.

yeeeeeeeeeeah....no. Miles superior is equivalent to calling me the queen of England. Either you have no idea of Lallana's qualities or just another agenda driven La Liga fanboy. Rakitic may be better but he's not miles better. 25m is fair business for both us and Soton. We're not ripping them off and they're not ripping us off. Signing Luis Alberto for 7m was a rip off. Signing Aspas for 7m was a rip off.

Plus Lallana fits our system much much more than Rakitic. Lallana's pace, athleticism and work ethic is a very important factor on why we're signing him. He's not better than Rakitic but he fits our system better. We're playing Gerrard at DM we need players that are even better defensively as good as they may be offensively.

Pace , athleticism, work ethic Laughing .... the fact is you are really struggling to find any aspects in which Lallana is better at than Rakitic. Rakitic defends just fine and could even play deep lying play maker role (the gerrard role ) if necessary. He can play multiple positions and he will fit pool just fine.
