Yeah, A 5 year deal apparently and he becomes head of basketball operations.
Think this is good news for Drummond?

Yeah it is. The roster is still a mess, but they should be better with him regardless.
I'm guessing the Warriors only wanted him as coach or he would've went there.

NBA Rulebook says the refs got the Reggie Jackson call right:
It might have still hit his other hand though so IDK
c. The ball is caused to go out-of-bounds by the last player to touch it before it goes out,
provided it is out-of-bounds because of touching something other than a player. If the ball is
out-of-bounds because of touching a player who is on or outside a boundary, such player
caused it to go out. If a player has his hand in contact with the ball and an opponent hits the
hand causing the ball to go out-of-bounds, the team whose player had his hand on the ball
will retain possession.
It might have still hit his other hand though so IDK

Who would you trade? Smith or Monroe?

Smith, I don't think they've given Monroe and Drummond enough time. Monroe is probably more likely to get moved though, no one wants Smiths contract.

That completely becomes null in void because the refs said the replays were inconclusive.
There was no reference to this rule when they made their decision. They said it was inconclusive and that means they have to stick with the ruling on the floor, Thunder ball.
Robbery. And the idiots don't even have the sense to cover their tracks?

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I think the refs, looking at the reply, felt they missed the foul by Barnes on Jackson (debatable foul) and made it up by giving the ball back to OKC.
Other than that, I dont have a problem with the calls. CP3 lost the ball before being touched at the end and he did seem to touch Westbrook on the elbow....why he did that, I have no idea, that was a terrible shot by Westbrook, let him shoot that with your hand raised and nothing more.
Paper Clips can cry all they want, but blowing a 13 point lead in such a short amount of time is why they lost. CP3 lost total control in the last minute, made 4 decisions in a row which were incredulous.
Crawford didnt help with his shot selection and Barnes with his transition defence and overall scrubness.
OKC got lucky, Clippers gave it to them with a small assist from the ref. Clippers dont get to blame the ref when you make mistakes like they did.

And the pattern of the Wizards and the Pacers stinking it up at home continues. Both having losing records in the post season on their home floor now I believe.

Oh and can I see, Brooks almost cost OKC again. Minus a poorly designed play that ended in a Westbrook ISO 3...and even before that when KD hit a 3, it was a badly designed play with KD just made the most of.
In the last minute, he left Perkins in there...CP3 scored over him of course. They had another time out, still left him in on offence. No time out, and he still in the game...Crawford gets an ISO on him but misses a layup.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I guess Tony Brothers, the crew chief, gave an explanation:
a CYA move
Jackson got fouled they realized they screwed that up so they made it up by giving OKC the ball
"When the ball goes out of bounds, the ball was awarded to Oklahoma City. We go review the play. We saw two replays. The two replays we saw were from the overhead camera showing down, and the one from under the basket showing the same angle but from a different view. And from those two replays it was inconclusive as to who the ball went out of bounds off of. When it's inconclusive, we have to go with the call that was on the floor.

Why didn't they do that in the Clips and GSW series when Paul was fouled but pushed the ball out of bounds and Golden State was given the ball.

Because their full of shit Mole.
That statement completely contradicts the review they sent to the NBA. They said they made the decision based on the rule that Barnes hit Jacksons hand and that forced the ball out of play, making it Thunder ball.
Now their saying it was inconclusive?
Everybody in the arena knew that was Clipper ball.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
I don't think they even knew about that rule until afterward. When they knew they messed up then someone found the rule.
the WB call was right from this picture
The curious thing remains is how the officials could offer up the explanation of inconclusive evidence when they had the rule at their disposal, justifiably open to the interpretation that would keep the ball in Oklahoma City's possession. The officials may have accidentally gotten the call right, which would obviously make Doc Rivers furious at the ruling when he was presented with that explanation by the refs.
Regardless of whether the call was correct, which it seems to be, the reasoning for it from Brothers and the officiating crew appears to be inconclusive, to say the least.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
WB one was a foul, out of bounds should have been Clippers ball. Pretty simple.
But, I mean, the level of choke by the Clippers in those last couple minutes? They deserved to lose. Chris Paul press conference afterward was just plain sad.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
i am not surprised, you could tell the Knicks were getting desperate lately, it was taking too much time.
But all the people that know Kerr kept saying that he loved the west coast too much, being close to his family and watching his kids grow up. And GS just have a superior roster in every way imaginable.
Phil is already flopping, glorious

What is this garbage? They boot Mark Jackson, just so they can get a guy with zero experience as a head coach.
Why is Steve Kerr so sought after anyways? What has he accomplished coaching wise?
