GL judges team by past efforts so hard tbh.
Yall are clueless, if a bad backline (which is half bad atm, not as terrible as some make it to be) is their only worry then they will be fine.
Park the bus can make any teams defence look good (look at Real Madrid, Pepe and Ramos looked like GOATs when we defended deep)
Bit off topic but not really: This is Messi's chance. If he flops here, he can never be considered the GOAT. Maradona simply had a bigger impact because he was GOATing in club and national level. No excuses, can't blame the team or anything. They have a easy way to the final and a good team.

The thing is that Jill jumps way too late on the bandwaggon. During the qualifiers there was a period when Argentina were in really hot form. Messi scoring like every game. Lady Gago turning into Gagiesta. Quick counterattacks. Nice balance all over the pitch. Even defensively solid, barely conceding more than 1 goal. At that point I also gave them a chance to win. But that was over a year ago. No one is playing at the same level anymore except Di Maria and the team chemistry is also gone as they haven't played together for ages again and it already showed against Romania.

they lost their chance by not taking any of the treble winning inter players last WC. in other words they *bleep* up the moment they let that coke head be their manager.
This year, I doubt anyone is going to want to see their bus lit on fire on the way out of the stadium, so my vote goes to brazil.

They could potentially play Portgual/Belgium and Germany/France, easy way

Portugal and Belgium are scrubs, their only actual tough game would be in semi finals vs Spain and the final vs Brazil/Germany
However, predictions normally go wrong on the WC

Argentina are the scrubs. With the way the groups will be seeded if Germany and Argentina win their groups then they can only play in the semi-final, not the final. To play Brazil in the final they'd have to beat Germany in the semis then.

Exactly, so who's to say they'll even make the semis even if it is easy on paper.
Italy were dead last in a group containing New Zealand, Slovakia, and Paraguay

Fazio had a breakout season. Performance against Valencia was no fluke. I think it should be him and Garay at the back. Zableta's good too just need a LB. Insua or Rojo should be fine. I like Insua tho.
