Name your perfect or close to perfect players
A lot of people always seem to criticise certain players and always talk about their weaknesses. Such and such is good at this, however he isn't good at that etc etc.
So who are your perfect or close to perfect players?
Looking for serious answers.

Re: Name your perfect or close to perfect players
Arturo Vidal
Has all the traits of a brilliant b2b midfielder. He is a tireless and hardworking midfielder. A fighter and a winner. That does it for me really.

Right now : Vidal , Di Maria , Iniesta , Messi , Azpi , Lahm( not sure tho but dude has been consistent as f//) , Thiago silva .
All are close to perfection sometimes in terms of what they are required to do imo.

Almost completely useless in attack, but class on defense. Fullbacks need to do more then defend in modern football.
Matic for me is the perfect DM; strong, creative(for a dm), technical, fast, stamina, etc.

Re: Name your perfect or close to perfect players
I agree with Vidal. Di Maria is also quite complete. Schweinsteiger as well.
I would also like to add Aaron Ramsey. Before his injury he was the Arsenal leader for assists, goals, tackles made, distance covered per game. He was literally their best attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder and goalscorer all in one.

4) very good in free kick
5) very good in corner kick
6) very good in penalty kick
7) very consistent in above ability

Re: Name your perfect or close to perfect players
What sort of traits are looked at when determining a perfect player?
Big game player?
Intelligent?
Not error prone?
Really good at what they do?
I don't think the player has to be complete in terms of his position though. Like Iniesta is probably one who is a perfect player or close to perfect, however he isn't a complete midfielder or anything.

Oh yeah and Iniesta of course.
He's just out of this world really with his ball control.

This
He is the only keeper in the world that scares guys who are taking PK's against him. When they show him pumping himself up and smacking the cross bar every time I think he has a better chance to stop the PK then the guy does to score it.
That and the fact he is a total beast in the box and a wonderful shot stopper. He is the perfect keeper for me.
Also, Luiz Suarez.
Every motion he seems to do on the pitch is useful to his team. Outside of his antics when you are talking about the pure playing of the game his play is just so positive and effective.

I agree about Matic but i didn't include him because he's been at chelsea for only 1/3 year.

Re: Name your perfect or close to perfect players
There is nothing as perfect player, they have weaknesses and strength. Its down to manager to utilize that in benefit of the team but if i want to go with one just for sake of giving an answer. I'd choose someone like De Rossi because he can defend, create and score

Re: Name your perfect or close to perfect players
Vidal, probably the most complete player out there. And when I say complete I mean exceptional at most aspects of his game, not somebody like Grosskreutz who's average at everything
Schweiny when fit is up there.
Di Maria lately has been the excellent in attack and defence.
Lahm perhaps.
T Silva and Barzagli for defence aswell.
