A quality joke has been spreading around like wildfire on social networks following Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final this week.

The match was settled by a stunning solo golazo from former Tottenham star Gareth Bale, as the 100 million man took the long route around Barca defender Marc Bartra to score one of the finest goals of his career to date.

Following Bale’s blistering individual special against the Catalans, an image has been going viral online of a fake speeding ticket which has been served to the Welsh wizard.

The ticket, issued by the Valencia police, was complete with some excellent comedy information, including the following:

Class: Much
Make: And scores (In Spanish “marca” can translate both to “make [of car]” and “he scores”
Model: No, not at the moment

If Bartra had scored his goal after being roasted by Bale, he probably wouldn't be suffering through this now. Bartra, who passed a fitness test only an hour before kick-off, was actually one of Barca's best players on a night where those experienced, so-called "big game players" were innocuous. He's copping a lot of flak when the rest of his team were very poor for long periods of the game.

Bale galloped past the young centre-back near the touchline and a deliberate foul by Bartra would have prevented the 85th minute goal from taking place.

Bartra was questioned as to why he did not sacrifice a yellow card for his team in order to stop the former Tottenham star.

The 23-year-old stated that he could have caught up with the world’s most expensive player had it not been for his tight hamstring which, by the time of noticing, was too late to reach him.

“Now if you think about it, then maybe I could have (fouled him). But if I had not damaged my hamstring, Bale would not have got past. I am sure. If it happened in the first half I would have reached him,” Bartra told Barça TV.
