Who will win Copa del Rey?

If Ronaldo played the score would have been 4-0. Did you see the amount of spaces in behind?

I agree, Ronaldo would've thrived in that game.Zealous wrote:Donuts wrote:Called it for a while, Madrid play better without Ronaldo, anyways yeah Alves/Pinto was at fault for both goals

In Cristiano's absence they win therefore Real Madrid>without Cristiano. Correlation=/=Causation logic should be saved only for Twitter and not here.
Ancelotti's teams never were reliant on one player ever.
I'm confident Cristiano would have flourished in all the space Barcelona afforded them. If not for Bale's goal and his ineptness in exploiting them previously, this topic would not have arisen.

Alves is a pos. There was another occasion where Ramos tried to help him up but he punched his hands away. Glad it was Lahoz reffing, there were a couple of dives by both teams which he just ignored but showed them that he had seen it by waving it away. He could easily have lost the game. Any other reff and Alves gets a red card for throwing the ball in Modric's face and both benches would have erupted in fights. This reff is very calm hence imo why he is the best reff in Spain. Spains version of Howard Webb
Why was Bale's goal dissallowed?? both tried to get the ball but Pinto fell. Weird decision there
That Bale run Bartra isn't experienced enough, if that had been Puyol guaranteed he would've fouled him. Bartra wasn't even on a yellow either. Still has alot to learn I guess
Pepe, Alonso and someone else were marking............Pedro for Barca's goal. Like wtf are you doing, pedro is no bloody threat in the air, Bartra is

I agree that Lahoz refereed very well and let the play flow when he could. I thought he could've given out some yellow cards for diving to players on both teams, but other than that, he got every call correct.
That Alves incident is so out of context in that gif. Alves was an idiot for not giving the ball back straight away because Madrid had clearly won the throw, but Modric gave Alves a good shove just before the part shown in the gif where Alves throws the ball in his face.
The Ramos incident you talked about was not one-sided either. Alves refused Ramos' help and then as Alves got up by himself, Ramos tried to kick him in the ass but missed and then got a stern talking to by his sensible teammate Alonso, who put the idiotic Ramos back in his place.
As for the Madrid goal that was not given, there was a clear foul because Bale actually chopped the arms of Pinto while he was jumping to get the ball. Surely the fact that no Madrid player protested (not even Bale) tells you that you are making more of this than you should. I'm not sure if it was offside or not, I didn't think so when I saw it.

Re: Copa del Rey Final FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid [16.04.14] 21:30 CET
I agree, there could've been some yellows for both teams with some of the dives, but generally they tried to stay on their feet when they saw how he ignored them all. A vast improvement from the previous two Clasicos were players were flopping around every 3 seconds, it got so annoying in the end.
I know Modric gave him a push but what was Alves doing with the ball anyways when we were 2-1 up?? try to force the reff to change his mind?? he shouldn't have kicked the ball away from Modric to pick it up himself, Modric was right to push him to get the ball, Alves then throwing it in his face was a disgrace and inexcusable
I noticed that Ramos tried to kick him, but it wasn't a full on hit just one that would barely graze his leg, nothing malicious about that
Bale was offside?? that explains it then because don't think he did anything wrong getting up against Pinto

Forza, It was clearly offside. There was only one player playing Bale onside as the goalie was further up.

Ah, I didn't catch that. Was it not also a foul? I thought the ref blew the whistle for that. My coverage didn't even show the linesman, lol.EarlyPrototype wrote:Forza, It was clearly offside. There was only one player playing Bale onside as the goalie was further up.

I don't think any foul was given. Tbf I didn't know what was going on myself till the commentator pointed it out on the replay. Correct decision.

Lahoz was on point from start to finish.
Mou was right, by far the best referee in Spain.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think there was a moment where Lahoz gave offside against Nerman and over ruled the linesman. Xavi said linesman did not flag and Lahoz said "I am the one in charge" I didn't know that was possible.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā what a boss.

Mourinho haters keep eating shit every week. Man is almost always right. The Joey Barton of managers. This is the worst Barcelona side in the last 6 years
I'm praying for a Chelsea RM final so Mourinho can win chelsea La Segundo

What's with Madrid players being so touchy feely?
These teams have grown to love each other through their hate.
