While searching for the Tim Sherwood punch rumour, I came across this on Wikipedia
Many Spurs fans have made rumours that Benataleb is Sherwood's illegitimate child, which is why he plays so often

How did he deny rumours using Instagram? Did he post a series of action pictures of him shaking his head?

47 - Liverpool have scored 47 goals at Anfield this term; their highest home tally in a single Premier League campaign.

Art Morte wrote:Tottenham were unbelievably bad. We were good, but Tottenham looked like that was the first time those players were playing together. Dim Tim's greatest masterstroke in this game was probably playing a Bentaleb - Sigurdsson CM pairing when you have Sandro and Dembele on the bench.
Also, is Paulinho injured or has he gone into hiding?
Paulinho hurt his eye before the match. However, once again good ole Timmy tore it up with his team selection.
Bentaleb (inexperienced)/Sigi (slow) as a midfield pairing
Chadli playing central instead of Eriksen
and to top it all off, Vertoghen goes down and Captain Calamity to the rescue?
I knew it wouldn't be great, but I didn't think Sherwood would be this bad, and the crazy thing is had we not dropped points against bad teams we would easily be in the top 4. Crazy to think that this season had we not dropped points against: Norwich (loss), Hull (draw), West Brom (loss), West Ham (both games lost), and Newcastle (lost) we would be on 72 points and top of the table
Outside of the West Ham/Newcastle game AVB didn't drop any points to inferior teams. West Ham are our bogey team, and Krul was just ridiculous that day.

Because you lot are *bleep* inept.. playing Dawson in a high line is similar to playing Terry in a high line. It's like hitting yourself in the foot with an axe.CBarca wrote:Dawson is the only defender I can think of who can come on and gift the opposition a goal on his first touch

Touché my friend.
@Exremist: I'm not the one in charge. Though I don't see how Dawson's first-touch-into-goal error was a product of his being in a high line, but more of being...stupid. I don't disagree with you, though.

Damien Delaney wrote:[After the loss at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho] came into our changing room and told us: 'If you guys keep that spirit and work-rate, you're not going to go down. "Did that come back to bite him? Yes, for sure! But fair play to him. He came into our changing room again, congratulated us, popped his head in and said 'well done.' That was nice.
It would've been easy for him to try and say something to take the heat off his own team but he's a good guy. I admire him.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V10
Manchester City have announced that the first phase of work to expand the Etihad Stadium is about to begin.
City were granted planning permission in February to increase the size of the ground from its current 47,670 capacity to 62,170.
The development, which will feature extensions to the north and south stands, has been split into two parts.
City have confirmed the appointment of international engineering company Laing O'Rourke as construction partners and ground engineering work on the South Stand site will begin immediately.
The expanded South Stand will take capacity to 54,000 by the 2015-16 season, something which will be marked by the introduction of a new £299 season ticket.
Tom Glick, City's chief commercial officer, said: "The expansion of the stadium is a hugely significant moment for City.
"We are delighted to announce Laing O'Rourke as a partner as we embark on this historic project.
"The waiting list for the expanded Etihad is already close to capacity and we look forward to seeing a sell-out 54,000-seat stadium as we open the 2015 season."
Laing O'Rourke were involved in the initial construction of the stadium, which was built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
The expansion is City's second major construction project in quick succession after the building of their new £200million Academy and training complex, which is due to open this summer.

So basically Mou's assertion that he had no strikers at Chelsea (when in actuality he has three) was right
