Re: Wenger acted like Mourinho yesterday
They have that bro-love thing going on
so the absence of a post match handshake probably doesn't mean too much

Re: Wenger acted like Mourinho yesterday
Highly doubt there was any feeling of ill between Pep and Wenger as given Wenger's frustration and the heavy traffic of staff between them, a post-match handshake does not take away from the immense respect they have along with a known friendship.
Like Benitez-Wenger, there is no animosity between them.

@Bayern fans: see now that you are successful and the favorites to win the CL again, you will get scrutinized for the most idiotic of things and only favors on your account will matter and get blown out of proportions. This trend will steadily increase the longer you keep your form/success. Good luck trying to argue with envious\loosing fans.

Wenger wrote:"What made the difference was the decision to send our goalkeeper off in the first game," "That decision had a huge impact. It was on the same player who got the penalty again tonight and that's a regret. Robben is very good at getting the maximum of nothing. He's a great player as well a very good diver but it's part of him."
Wenger's at it again. He's really not as classy as legend has it.

No he's not. He wins people over by playing "beautiful" football, that's why people don't negatively associate his words with things like mind games.

I don't think it's mind games, I think it's lack of self-reflexiveness, which in the end amounts to a lack of class.
Also, beautiful football my arse, they're not playing that well or handsomely if we're honest.

To be fair to Venga, Robben did dive like an olympic champion. He's stating a facht.

Nah, he dove. Didn't pretend he got his leg caught in a bear trap, though, like he usually does, so kudos to him.

Robben has always been a diver. Wenger can moan and blame others for Arsenal's exit, but only he is to blame for that.

Wenger in the press conference after the SECOND game going on about the Szescny pen in the first game.
Now according to him it was not only not a goal-scoring opportunity for Robben, but should've been called a foul BY Robben, too!!

Maybe he considered it a foul by Robben that Robben retaliated in an interview recently ^^

Re: Wenger acted like Mourinho yesterday
he also claims that after Robben's touch the ball was 'at Sagna's feet' - Sagna's nowhere near
Seriously what's up with the guy, how long has this been going on?!
If his perception and judgement are that removed from reality, what does that say about more important instances where his judgement is needed?
Maybe he really thought Kim Kalldashian was actually a top young midfielder brimming with fitness instead of some 30+ Swede with a back injury?!

Re: Wenger acted like Mourinho yesterday
Looking at the GIF, I'd go so far as to say Robben lost control of the ball after the first touch and Sagna was steaming back to collect the ball, but referees nowadays are so shit and obtuse, they don't take these variables into account anymore, Contact in the box = penalty, regardless of surrounding elements

That's what I mean, collective delusion, and no wonder why you're always the better team in your mind yet for some reason still never win anything

Re: Wenger acted like Mourinho yesterday
Robben may or may not have dived but what is not a mystery is the entire Arsenal backline was caught ball watching. Robben literally ran in front of them and no one saw him.

An arsenal fan went into a Bayern Munich football shop and asked if they had any Arjen Robben diving gear.

Re: Wenger acted like Mourinho yesterday
You know that "Robben" in German is the plural of Robbe, which is the word for "seal" (the animal). What to you expect of a seal but to dive?
