As noted before, Rob Van Dam was backstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles before last night's RAW.

Word is that he was just there to say hello to the crew and have a brief meeting with Triple H, presumably about his return to the company.

RVD is expected back at any point but he still has to go through the physical testing again before going back on the road with WWE.

2 would work, if Batista costs Orton the title at the Chamber or something. Setting up a three way with them, and Batista wins the title at Mania (I think he agreed to come back if they guaranteed him certain things like that)

That way nobody will be ruining other matches during Mania by chanting for Bryan, and when the crowd Boo Batista when he wins the title, he can turn heel on Raw the next day.

Probably the best thing that can happen outside of Lesnar being inserted into the match.

- There was talk backstage at RAW last night that Daniel Bryan might end up pulling double duty at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, working Kane as well as the Chamber match.

It appears WWE has dropped "Antonio" from Antonio Cesaro's name. His entire profile on the WWE roster page has been edited to reflect the name change and his Twitter name has been changed to just Cesaro also.

Even with losing to Triple H, Orton was still one of the hottest superstars then. He was getting cheered due to his work.

While he has said he will never wrestle again on his podcast, people close to Steve Austin say that when he filmed WWE Tough Enough a few years ago, he got in the ring and messed around but banged himself up worse than expected.

That incident sort of "set off a light bulb" in Austin's head about how dangerous it would be to get back in the ring.

I think at this point it's pretty clear Austin isn't that interested in appearing on screen in any time consuming capacity for the WWE. He may make a one off appearance every few years, but yeah, he doesn't seem that interested for one reason or another. Probably because he's well beyond the point that it'd benefit him and he likely isn't that enthused with the current product. We'd likely get a watered down version of him if he was to appear in character anyway. That'd suck.

We noted before that WWE has dropped the "Antonio" from Antonio Cesaro's name. For what it's worth, WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston's name on Twitter and the WWE website now just says "Big E."

There are still mentions of "Langston" in his Superstar bio but he's now being referred to as just Big E.
