WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has returned to WWE and will host WrestleMania 30 on Sunday, April 6, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Hogan will make his long-awaited return to WWE on Monday’s Raw. He will also appear on WWE Raw Backstage Pass, airing live on WWE Network immediately following Raw.

“We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE,” WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon said. “It’s fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network.”

A larger-than-life icon, Hogan was regarded as the “Face of WWE” when Randy Orton was still in snakeskin diapers. The Hulkster’s rise to sports-entertainment immortality began on Jan. 23, 1984, when he defeated The Iron Sheik in Madison Square Garden to become WWE Champion. That victory started a pop culture phenomenon known as “Hulkamania” with Hogan bringing WWE to international prominence with appearances on MTV, his own animated series and a definitive WrestleMania III main event against Andre the Giant in front of a record 93, 173 fans in the Pontiac Silverdome.

The Hulkster went on to become a six-time WWE Champion, and a WrestleMania icon, battling everyone from The Rock to 2014 WWE Hall of Fame inductee The Ultimate Warrior on The Grandest Stage of Them All. In 2005, Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his “Rocky III” co-star Sylvester Stallone. His red and yellow boots have not touched a mat since December 2007, but that will change this Monday night.

My ideal Wrestlemania scenario is this:

Lesnar takes Christians spot in the chamber match, kills everyone and wins the title. This sets up Lesnar vs Batista at Wrestlemania.

HHH deems Orton a failure and takes matters in his own hands, facing Daniel Bryan at WM. Later a stipulation is added than if Bryan wins, he gets a title shot at the next ppv.

Cena cuts a promo saying he's done it all blah blah, then Taker's music hits. Doesn't say a word but basically insinuating that Cena hasn't done everything because he hasn't faced the streak.

Orton does whatever he wants, maybe feuds with Sheamus/Cesaro.

At WM, Batista wins with the help of HHH, becoming the new Corporate champion. Lesnar remains strong and takes another break. Lesnar only needs to return for 1.5 months and work the occasional Raw similar to the Rock the year before.

Bryan beats HHH and faces Batista at the next ppv. The odds a stacked against him (think Rock-HHH at Backlash 2000), but then CM Punk returns and helps Bryan win. This leads the Bryan as the long term champion and "giving him the ball and running with it".

That's a decent line up however I wouldn't bother having Lesnar screwed by the corporation because that goes completely against his gimmick

Lesnar would almost be a face in that scenario, but Batista does need to turn heel.

How can Batista turn heel on another heel lol? I mean whether it's Orton or Lesnar. They will have to turn him heel on RAW after that or something

Nah I don't mean turn him heel on Lesnar

I'm saying the opposite. They can't screw Lesnar because Lesnar would be a face in that scenario.

But at some point, Batista needs to become a heel

I'd turn Batista heel at elim chamber, which is ridiculously easy to pull off

Have him beat Del Rio then just assault him for 5 minute straight, commentators do the old 'there's no need for this' routine etc etc

Also, I don't want any interference in this WWE WHC match at Wrestlemania at all

There's been way too many title matches this year decided on cheap interferences, the main title match in the main event of the main PPV should be a 100% clean match. No need to make the winner of the biggest match of the year look weak. It's pointless.

They can just have Triple H as the special ref in the WM match. However in the weeks prior, Batista and Triple H both act impartial towards each other. During the WM match, Triple H nods to Batista and pedigrees Bryan or something. Signalling Batista's heel turn. Lesnar then F5's Triple H. Batista powerbombs Lesnar. Vince comes out with a new ref, Lesnar kicks out. Bryan gets up and hits both with a running knee and wins.

As noted earlier, Kane appeared on KARE 11 in Minneapolis this morning (which you can watch above) to promote Elimination Chamber and said that Brock Lesnar would be at Sunday's pay-per-view.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that WWE is stating that Kane misspoke, and Lesnar will not be at the show. Both Lesnar and Paul Heyman are still slated to appear at this Monday's loaded RAW.

The Rock is said to be the leading candidate for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame in California. It's more up to Rock, if he wants it, and how his schedule goes.

Regarding the Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Curtis Axel and Ryback match for the Elimination Chamber Kickoff pre-show, it's been noted within WWE that Axel, being from the Minneapolis area and being from the well-known Hennig family, could get a babyface reaction.

Hulk Hogan is back in WWE as the legendary wrestler was officially announced Friday as the host of WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, April 6. The six-time WWE Champion will make his long-awaited return to the company this Monday on Raw.

He will also appear on WWE Raw Backstage Pass, which airs live on the WWE Network immediately following Raw. The Associated Press has published an article on the big news, which features quotes from Hogan as well as WWE executive and talent Paul "Triple H" Levesque.

"I definitely want to stay here in the WWE," Hogan said Friday. "I just can't see myself ever being anywhere else. This is home. It always has been home. In the twilight of my career, what a great way to be part of the final hurrah for Hulk Hogan and all the Hulkamaniacs."
While there are no plans for the legendary grappler to compete at WrestleMania XXX, "he's in shape and could be ready to mix it up, if needed, at the Superdome."

"Right now, it's not in the plans," Hogan said. "But like they say in the WWE, never say never."

Hogan apparently trained this week at the WWE Performance Center as he posed for a snapshot with various trainers and personnel at the building while donning his trademark red and yellow "Hulkamania" wrestling attire.

"It's time for him to come home," remarked Levesque, who laid the groundwork for his return last year during a charity event encounter.

Though Hogan appeared for rival promotion TNA Wrestling during his lengthy absence, WWE never forgot him as he was frequently featured in material showcasing the company's great history.

"I don't think there's ever been a doubt that Hulk Hogan was, in some way, a WWE commodity," said Levesque.

Yeh Orton winning it is very predictable. Anyone else winning it doesn't make sense though imo. Bryan's moment has to come at WM, Cena obviously not, Cesaro ain't ready, Christian and Sheamus no.

Chris Jericho teased fans on twitter by noting that he was headed to or stuck in a Minneapolis airport. Of course this weekend's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view takes place in Minneapolis.
