So we go into the interval 1-0 up. Been decidedly flat otherwise. Probably were denied a stonewall penalty a few minutes before that, mind, but an improvement in the second half, as well as another goal, should be enough to see it out. West Brom not interested in playing whatsoever.

Pretty frustrating. Referee has called nothing all game, west brom essentially just allowed to kick the crap out of us with no consequence, majority of the time doesn't even look like they are playing the ball. Glad we got that goal but, hopefully we go for 1 more before we shut up shop.

Frustrating half tho, we made many mistakes but I'd still say we were the better team because WBA did basically nothing other than kicking our players

We need more quality in midfield and more smart and consistent runs in the box, Lampard?

Yeah Lampard would be a good shout second half. They do seem to be Ganso but I'm also very bias so can't really make that statement haha.

Mou has done this before, bringing on Mikel when we still have a threat to invite a ton load of pressure. I remember a similar move years ago to bring on Huth for an attacking player, its like HEY COME ATTACK US.

Bound to concede away if we do that, props to WBA though.

This is exactly why Ba can still be an important player for us, for all of the added time we were clearing balls up to half way but didnt have anyone up there to win those balls

Yea, that's Mou. I guess we have to accept every single aspect of him. (we still sucked the 80 minutes before Mikel entered tho, the goal was bound to happen)
