Verona director Sean Sogliano confirmed they have “received an offer from Napoli for Jorginho. We are evaluating it.”

The Brazilian-Italian Under-21 international midfielder is hot property on the transfer market with the likes of Juventus, Inter, Milan and Liverpool also interested.

“I can confirm we have received an offer from Napoli,” Verona director of sport Sogliano told CalcioNapoli24.it this afternoon.

“There will be some news soon, we are evaluating it.”

The proposal is believed to be worth in the region of €10m.

It would be broken up into an initial €7.5m transfer fee plus a further €2.5m in performance-related bonuses.

Now 22, Jorginho has scored seven goals and provided four assists in his first 18 Serie A games.

United actually have a good chance of signing gundi since i am pretty sure we wont be in the running anymore.

But if i was gundi i would stay at dortmund at least for another year or go to Chelsea if they go for him.

Cant say i have watched a whole lot of him.Saw some amazing goals,but i dont know much about his playing style.But from what ive seen, he is like Januzaj(in terms of playing style,also left footed) with better finishing/long shots

Yes, Rummenigge will never say that he wants a player to leave, why should he, Mandzukic's been great, but even if they renew his contract and Mandjukic would want out at some point they would let him go, and probably pretty cheap. I mean we sold Gomez to Firenze for something like 14m €, just because he wanted out and didn't want to go anywhere else...

Southampton looking at a RB? I wonder if they're planning/expecting to lose one of Clyne and/or Chambers in this window or the next.

In fact, with the Chairman leaving it's possible we could see a major exodus from the club. Pochettino did say previously that he would leave the club if Cortese did and I could see Sotton losing a number of their younger stars to the usual vultures if Pochettino follows Cortese out.

Why would Gundogan and Reus take a step backwards and go to Man Utd? Surely they can see the way Kagawa is being treated there and realise it's not worth it.
