Why wouldn't Wilshere start tomorrow when he's just coming into form?

I couldn't see Wilshere in the training pics. Seeing that he isn't injured, perhaps Arsene is giving him a rest with him playing quite a lot lately.

Or that the rumour is just a rumour and Nothing else.

But I would like to see Oxlade-Flamini together for the sake of it though lol.

Is starting an experimental midfield really wise? Couldn't that have been saved for Coventry?

Wouldn't really be experimental. Oxlade has played in midfield few times.

We don't really have anyone else either. Unless we play Rosicky in there but Arsene might not want to play him just yet

I think Jack might be sick or injured, and starting Oxlade is not good idea. Thomas Eisfeld would have been my choice, would be nice if he got a chance to show what he can do. Cool

Just occurred to me that Rambo, Arteta and Jack(?) won't be available while Rozza just broke his nose.

When else did we play with Ox at CM btw, I know we've done it before but it feels like it wasn't more than once or twice.

Would be ridiculous if we took Wilshere out of the midfield now if he isn't injured or something.

It would be interesting to see how that Ox - Flamini midfield works. I know Ox has played there before but I still think it is a bit too experimental at this time.

Let's just go with what has worked recently and get the 3 points. I'm so very scared that anytime soon we might just do one tiny thing wrong and then our season will tumble down. Sad

From arsenal.com:

Wenger also feels that too much is expected of Mesut Ozil at such an early stage in his Arsenal career.

“Sometimes people expect him to make the difference alone,” he said. “Sometimes when it doesn’t work you expect him to take the ball and put it in the net. He is more a passer than a finisher.
“[Goalscoring] is one of the things he can add to his game for sure. It doesn't need to be criticised, it needs to be encouraged.
“I think as well that the consistency of the quality of his passing slowly drains the opponent as he passes always the ball when you do not want him to do it. That slowly [allows] us to take over.
He is 25, he can only get better. The best years are coming for him now.

"He is very much appreciated by his team-mates," Wenger told the official matchday programme. "That's a real compliment you can get when you are a football player.
"For me it is a bit like Zidane when he played for Madrid, all the other players said he was the best.
"You want first to be recognised by people who do the same job as you, and I think that is the biggest compliment that you can get.
"You would speak with everybody who plays in this team, they always rate him very highly.

________________________________________________

I hope his prime is with us. Like Arteta, Rosicky and Cazorla right now. I wouldn't want to sell any of them, nor the likes of our British core.

Arsenal are doing another Twitter Takeover right now. Some great answers from Fabiasnki:

If you could play as an outfield player, which position would you pick and why?
Fabiasnki: "I would play No 10 because my vision is superb, my qualities on the ball as well! Loads of assists!"

Why are you not a NBA player?
Fabiasnki: "Because I'm a football player! I like NBA, I like basketball but I prefer football."

Do you play a lot of basketball? Your 3 point shots were pretty good when you were practicing with the Brooklyn Nets!
Fabiasnki: "No, not really. I just play over the summer break because my two brothers are big fans as well."

Who'd win a 100 meter race between Mertesacker and Wenger?
Fabiasnki: "What a question! The boss would start well but Per would catch up with his long strides and overtake."

What is the most important part of a sandwich?
Fabiasnki: ""Hmmm, what's inside of it I guess! Ham and cheese would be the best part for me."

So, who would you say is the handsomest chap in the dressing room?
Fabiasnki: "Come on, is that a question? It's obviously me!"

Further proof that Arsene is staying. Regarding the appointment of Jonkers, he said he 'looks forward' to working with him. Jonkers joins next season.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger added: “I am very pleased that Andries is joining us. He has a big reputation in the game and was a key part of the team which developed the structures which are now producing such strong young players in Holland. I look forward to working with him. I would also like to thank Liam for his work which has been outstanding over many years.”
