Rank them in terms of potential. Feel free to add any player of your liking if you feel these batch of players aren't the cream of the crop of their generation.

tier 1A: nerman, thiago, pogba
tier 1B: hazard, gotze, isco,
tier 2: ramsey, oscar
tier 3: balo

they are all elite talents for the most part Gil, no use in ranking them really. Most are also already in teams where they will be put in a position to dominate.

Januzaj deserves to be mentioned if we are going to rate Pogba, two years younger and putting in better performances already, in a much tougher league.

Isco has not shown any signs of individual improvement nor to a role which he has been assigned to. You guys give him too much credit. I know Carlo wants him to be as an ACM, except we already have Modric for that and oftenly enough you can see him being confused at times. Hes not an AM either because he lacks necessary attributes.

Same thoughts eactly. My only half question is Thiago and if he will be able to assert himself into that midfield in the way Pep wants, or adapt to a different role.

They'll all be at a similar level if they continue the way they are. Maybe Neymar slightly ahead of the others when he reaches his peak.

If including other players Verratti is tier A for me. Januzaj is way too early to "grade" imo, all hes done up to now is have some good form vs random scrubs. Gundogan goes into cat A if he still counts for this age wise, same for kroos. I think wilshere will at some point get back to being one of the leading talents of this generation, hopefully anyway. I can think of some others but like januzaj too early and they haven't done nothing serious yet.

Rating Januzaj with the likes of Neymar, Gotze, Hazard who have all been playing at the top level for years is insane to me.

It's like Macheda all over again.

Tier 1. Gotze and Pogba will be the best of the lot in the future
Tier 1.1 Nerman, will be right up there but I don't see him being as god as Gotze or as dominant as Pogba.

Tier 2. Thiago, Hazard, Isco, Oliver Torres
Tier 3. Ramsey, Verratti, Coutinho, Oscar, Barkley, Suso

Took some time to give this a thought. Based on the players i have seen and who i genuinely rate in terms of their potential and ability.

Tier 1. Neymar, Goetze, Thiago, Wilshere, Hazard, Draxler, Meyer
Tier 2. Oscar, Verratti, Pogba, Balotelli, Oliver Torres, Oxlade Chamberlain
Tier 3. Coutinho, Ramsey, Barkley, Isco, Koke, Janujaz

Yeah forgot Draxler, he'd go into My Tier 2 with Hazard, Thiago, Isco, and Oliver

I have rated mine in terms of talent and potential so he is my Tier 2, nearly tier 1. But Nick is right in his way as well

Talent can only get you to a certain point.

Which is why he's so low on my list. He doesn't have he discipline or professionalism required to reach that level

A bit of knee jerk.Januzaj being compared to the likes of nerman and gotze.Thiago still has lots to prove to be compared to them.So does pogba.tier 1 has been neymar, hazard and gotze for a few years and i think it will stay like that for a while

hate? lol. look, balotelli has immense talent, physically he is gifted with a long lean powerful body, deceptively fast on distance; technically, his shooting technique is already quite brutal and could get better, he has technical abilities that CF dont usually have. He not only has vision, but he also has the passing quality to make that vision happen. As a CF, he can play with his back to the goal, or a little more withdrawn where he can get more touches and feed his team mates in attack. I dont even mention the mental resources he has to often show up with the goal for his team when they need it, which more than compensate the fact that he is not a serial scorer.

On talent alone, i have said it before, Balotelli is the most talented young CF in football, not even close.

But what good is talent if you lack the discipline and the work ethic to harness it? the list of supremely talented athletes across sports who never could maximize their potential is very long.
