Guarin in doubt for Napoli - Inter
Fredy Guarin is at risk for Sunday’s Napoli-Inter Serie A match after picking up an injury in training.
The Colombian international interrupted his training session this afternoon due to a knock during the game between ranks.
His condition will be monitored over the next few days, so he is at risk for Sunday’s Serie A trip to the San Paolo.
Walter Samuel is closer to a comeback, but Diego Milito and Mauro Icardi are still not ready for their return from an injury lay-off.

no significant weaknesses
attempt crosses often, but no one to receive them
Finishing scoring chances
we should walk this one

I would be really glad to tie
it is the away game that I hate most'of all
Maybe Zanetti will go on bench , I hope it, it is easier we will play 11 vs 11 so, he can't maintain 90 minutes

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
The San Paolo has always been a tough place to play for any opponent, let alone a struggling Inter who have always managed three draws in the last three matches. This would be the biggest challenge so far for the boys of Walter Mazzarri who is going to face his former club in a hostile environment. Above are the probable starting lineups for both teams but what important to note here is that Campagnaro, Nagatomo and Taider are at risk to be suspended against Milan with one more yellow card. But first thing first, let’s play a solid match against Napoli.

Icardi to start, call up for Milito
Today was the day that Inter are back at work ahead of Sunday’s derby. The Gazzetta dello Sport updates us on the possible choices of Mazzarri who will be without Alvarez.
“Milan could be a chance for Mauro Icardi who already played a few minutes against Napoli. Milito and Samuel are still being evaluated but both are hopeful for a call-up this weekend.”

Important chance for Juan Jesus and Jonathan
Luiz Felipe Scolari, Brazil national team coach, will be in Milan Sunday to watch the derby between Inter and Milan. For the coach, it is an opportunity to watch the progress of Milan midfielder Kaka but also to keep a close eye on two Inter players Jonathan and Juan Jesus. Both must take this important chance to perform in order to convince Scolari to take them to World Cup 2014

Muntari to start in place of injured Montolivo
Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano discusses the formation of Milan ahead of the match against Inter.
“In the midfield, Poli, De Jong and Muntari will play with Montolivo suspended. In defense, there is concern because Emanuelson is not in best condition. He will not probably be there due to an arm injury. Constant should be in his place. De Sciglio could take the starting spot of Abate and in central defense, there are Bonera and Zapata.”

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
With Alvarez out of the Milan derby, Zanetti seems to be the favorite over Kovacic to be in the midfield on Sunday. Handanovic is in command between the sticks behind Juan, Rolando and Campagnaro. Nagatomo and Jonathan are your regular wingers with Taider and Cambiasso occupying the other two spots in the midfield. Guarin will support lone forward Palacio as usual.

*bleep* you Mazzari. Kovacic is our best midfielder and he proves it time and time again, but noo, thats not good enough for no balls Mazzari. Hard fought victory here, we still suck offensively but at least we kept a clean sheet

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
First half was so lame,we had nothing in midfield. If we started the way we finished it would be a more convincing victory IMO.
This defensive trio seems to be our best.We should probably ship out Ranocchia in January.
