Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
Rosanero without a home win since April
Palermo haven't won in front of their own fans since a 1-0 victory over Reggina in Serie B on 17 April. They have managed three draws and two defeats at home since then.
Palermo's last win in Serie A came against Inter
Palermo's most recent success in the Italian top flight came against Inter: Ilicic scored the solitary goal in the Sicilians' win on 28 April 2013. What remained of the 2012/13 season plus their start to this campaign means they have drawn one and lost five of their last six Serie A matches.
Inter yet to concede in 2014/15
Inter haven't let in a goal in their last 450 minutes of action. The Nerazzurri kept cleans sheets against Stjarnan (3-0 away, 6-0 at home), in their opening two league games (0-0 at Torino and 7-0 over Sassuolo) and in their first Europa League group game (1-0 win over Dnipro in Kiev).
Andreolli one away from a ton
Marco Andreolli could make his 100th appearance in Serie A tonight. He made his debut in a 0-0 home draw with Reggina on 29 May 2005. He has also represented Roma and Chievo.
Icardi top scorer in Italy in 2014/15
Mauro Icardi has scored the most goals in all competitions in Italy this season. The Argentine's tally stands at six thanks to three goals against Stjarnan in the Europa League play-off and a hat-trick at home to Sassuolo last weekend.
Iachini unbeaten in high-scoring previous meetings
Giuseppe Iachini has never lost to Inter: the current Palermo coach has won once and drawn twice (both 1-1s). The three matches have produced eight goals, five for Iachini's sides and three for the Nerazzurri.
Mazzarri leads 8-5
Walter Mazzarri has met Palermo on 19 occasions. The Nerazzurri coach has won eight, drawn six and lost five against the side from Sicily.

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
good this change of title .it is better to put name of the match on parenthesis and "mathcday commentary" as main title...
anyway , we got only 8 points with a ridicolous calendar. this is the most worrying thing
palermo was raped by lazio today , cagliari is shite to defend , torino meh but basically it was the only acceptable result
now Fiorentina and Napoli in a row.....
Qarabag is the typical annoying match of EL, the typical match who looks lilke a tax and stop , a tax before of an important match , it should abolish EL groups imo
atm we have only the " name" .
But this is not the Inter that we have always known
I don't remind an attack so "petty" for example. We have a young player 1993, a player old 32 , a player got on loan from Southampton .
If we compare with past Inter attacks .. We had even Ronaldo,Baggio,Vieri in same year in ugly years. And I talk about ugly years. Let alone last years..
Our top signing would be Hernanes now, a player taken from Lazio who was 7th in table and he is in downturn
We are a team enougn normal, we can winning and losing with everyone..

Hopefully it continues.
I want to see the back of Mazzarri. He is not the one to take us to the future...Wish we hired an interim coach from the inside and try for Simeone next season.

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
the worst result i wanted. i preferred a win or a lost. a win would be a big boost and a lost would fire mazzari. now he will stay longer. we faced a very weak napoli yesterday in the first half yet we got only one big chance to score. icardi and palacio are both shit.

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
I have to admit I have completely lost passion for our team for the first time in my life.
It's been years of terrible decisions, tactical and managerial, decisions so transparently wrong even an ordinary fan could tell.I am often in genuine physical discomfort watching games caused by tactical misconception our managers have.
I just can't bear anymore...Things must improve.
What worries me most is the fact that I've also lost passion for trolling this forum

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
He is not. This is also the first season in 9 years I've missed a league game. I understand it's part of Inter to be pazza on the field. What made me frustrated was the no progress in taking the club forward. At least now ET is taking small steps to the right direction. Only thing I am waiting for is for him to hire a pragmatic coach who adopts his game to the situation, or a coach who have a modern philosophy the whole club can adopt and stick to it for years. Not this shit on a stick 352 we have been playing.

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
I think it's easy to support a team in a treble season , but the real fans show to be this in difficult moments . and Inter fans showed it in past year, the thing to distinguish Inter fans from others was the attachment and the loyalty to club regardless of victories or losses , I don't know if you know it but we are the 2nd most supported team in Italy (Juve is the most supported by far , Milan are basically same number than Interisti but not more ) and we didn't diminished of numer not even in Sacchi era , not even in 90s years when we won 3 Uefa Cups but 0 scudetti. We make always many subscriptions atr stadium even in last years.
Although , I must be cynical , maybe this is the ugliest period of Inter history.
We had difficult years also in past but we had top player and the hope to improve because we bought them .
Now we talk about Mazzarri etc surely it is a problem, but the real problem is that we haven't money.
The club is in economic crisis , the worst in its history (we didn't spend also in 70'- half 80' under Fraizzoli, and infact we won only 2 scudetti and 2 Coppa Italia under him, but we had not problems to balance the budget and the FPF as now ) . And what is the future of a club with no money ? Just the Champions League qualification can give improve us , but how can you get it if don't you improve the team?
We will have much patience with young players and other, although we are already tired about scrub seasons.

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
I'm not some bandwagoner.I've been a fan since 2000,those were the dark ages...
But I just didn't care enough to watch the St Etienne game...I would normally watch every single minute of a season and preseason as well.I just can't anymore, because I consider myself quite tactically educated and understanding of football,,so seeing a tactical setup which is very limiting to our players for the last couple of years makes me want to smash the TV since kickoff.Benitez,Leonardo,Gasperini,Ranieri,Stramaccioni and Mazzarri...I could always tell what they were doing wrong and predict what would happen. It just got to the point that I don't care anymore because it's the same mistakes, over and over and over...

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
ok understood now
You aren't the frst to listen saying this.
TBH it' s really difficult to watch an Inter match for 90 minutes now .
It's an achievement do it. you does it for " owe" as fan but you would not advise it to a neutral to do it.
I think it is saddest Inter ever, all saw also mediocre years but at least you could see temperament and flashes of class.
Not even flashes of class now .
Just apathy. We are the personification of apathy.
Saddest Inter ever.

it's beautiul to read some comments about Moratti by neutral fans
Demonstration about how much he was appreciated as football man

Re: Matchday Commentary Thread
I don't think this is the saddest Inter ever
I think when we start playing big teams like Juve, Roma, Milan, we will beat them and then we will still be in a shit position in the league just because we're inconsistent as hell.
I mean we have a really good team. a team that's better than the results we're getting. and mazzari has done better with worse, so I don't know what's going on.
