this Marchisio-Pogba Debate is getting out of hand

1. Completely different playing styles
2. Completely different attachment to the club
3. Completely different value to the club

Regarding point one

Pogba in attack is miiiiiiiiles ahead of Claudio. miles. But he has a tendency of over dribbling and losing the ball and other defensive frailties. That is where Marchisio excels, stabilising the game and making it fluid

Point 2
Pogba wants to go big, he wants to rule the world and he can. Marchisio doesn't want anything except Juve

Which brings me to point 3

Value to the club. People here talk about selling Marchisio, it is the same as selling Giovinco, Chiellini, or any other of our primavera players

The main reason Juve fans are Juve fans is because of these Italian players. I came because of Del Piero and God knows how many others came here for the same reason

So when you decide to sell a player like Marchisio, you get a maximum of 20 million and disappoint countless supporters

Players like Marchisio are invaluable, you get no money from selling them and you lose a player that is happy to sit on the bench for the sake of the club



To end my argument I would like to discuss the main point. Are you guys nuts?

there are 4 players and three positions, why on earth are we even having this discussion? seriously and one of those four players is freaking 34 years old

But even Del Piero sat out for Ravanelli, Ibrahimovic, Diego, Vieri and so many others

I don't like Pogba, but that's a personal preference. My real problem is Pirlo actually I don't like seeing him play every single game, when Marchisio is so good in that role.

Yes Pirlo is a legend, but a Milan and Italy legend not a Juve legend. I will be disappointed if he stays on after this season especially after winning a third Scudetto a first UEFA cup and a second world cup

Yeah... its necessary to put them to open an ignorant man's eyes

Looking more and more comfortable in the DM role by each passing game.
I actually wouldnt mind to see more this combination even if that means Pirlo is benched.

exactly esp in away games, but our defense today   

I said it ages ago, he would be great in this role.

And so far, he has been. I'd love to see him be the Pirlo replacement. After the best Regista of all time goes, there's nowhere to go but down in terms of a direct replacement.

Keep Marchisio in that role, buy Criscito to leave Asamoah free to play in CM.

The Corriere dello Sport suggest Claudio Marchisio is considering his future at Juventus beyond this summer.

The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte in recent months, whilst reports have continually linked him with interest from Manchester United in particular.

Today the Corriere dello Sport suggest that a combination of the two has the Italy international considering his future in Turin, and the prospect of a possible move elsewhere come June.
