Marchisio is the most complete midfielder we have. He is under appreciated in my opinion. But besides that he is a true Juventino and our next captain. He is the next Marco Tardelli. Tardelli is a Juventino legend who was instrumental in Italia winning the 1982 World Cup. I watched him play as a young teenager and I watched Tardelli in the 1982 finals when I was in Italy for the summer. He scored the winning goal against Germany and had the famous "Tardelli Cry" goal celebration.

Marchisio is Tardelli 2.0 and will become a Juventino legend. He isn't going anywhere. Marchisio being sold is all fantasy talk. Nothing more...

slight MCL tear. Tough break. You can't do anything until it's fully healed so add another week of rehab to that.

Pogba's time to take over for good

Couldn't have really went down much worse than it did from Marchisios Point of view.


Talk of him being sold to accomodate Pogba
Pogba pushing for a spot
Marchisio injured straight away in cup final
Pogba comes on and scores instantly
Now Pogba has a free run at the starting spot for at least 1 month.


Feel really bad for him, Pirlo will be gone within 2 seasons probably. But even then, a Midfield of Pogba, Marchisio and Vidal lacks creativity quite badly.

We have Pogba, Fausto, and Marrone Tom. Im thinking that Fausto will end up being a Pirlo type replacement

There's actually a good chance he(Pirlo) might be gone after this season.

And for sure we'll sign a creative midfielder next summer.We wouldnt have to worry about that.

I think this injury also means we may push hard to sign a LWB to rotate with Asamoah possibly and at the same time (if needed) we can use Asamoah as midfield cover too until Claudio returns.

Marchisio before he got injured yesterday was excellent. Pogba scored but Marchisio was everywhere when he was on the pitch. Defending, dribbling players for fun, some good passing, etc.

Anyways, still think Marchisio has his starting spot held down tight. He simply does too much work off the ball that's not seen, both offensively and defensively. Pogba is flashy but not on Marchisios level yet, who when on form I consider to be world class.
