That link
Half right though, my dad supports Souf Sydney but my mum supports neither manly or the uglies. She actually supports the roosters now but at the time I picked the roosters she supported the dogs but jumped ship after that rape thing with Mason and Shrek, both of which we ended up signing and braith anasta

I could sing as a child but not anymore alas.
Also now that I actually understand the basics of NRL I can now stand to watch it for more than five minutes, it's not as bad as I used to think. Wearing body armour is a very quick way to lose respect from Australians when it comes to sport though.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I could foresee an argument about compulsory headgear being introduced in the future but it would never reach body armour, agility and speed are too important and the game too intense for long periods of time.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Heres some trivia for you non aussies:
Friday Feb 14th is Valentine's Day in just about every country in the world, although in Australia we celebrate the birthday of Australias greatest poet Banjo Paterson (even though his birthday is on the 17th). This years celebrations will be particularly festive as this year marks his 150th birthday.
This year i've been lucky enough to be involved in a local production of The Man From Snowy River, I'll be playing one of the horses that didnt get away.
What are the rest of you Aussies doing today?

Of course just like the proper versions of each rugby code, Rugby Leagues version is newer and better, its only a matter of time before we replace your scrub version at the olympics

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Sorry I meant to say NFL.
As for rugby, Union >>>>>>>>>>>>>> League.
My plan for today is to get a haircut and read a Feast for Crows, that's about it.

Not anything amazing, but I happened to get my haircut today as well. I'll be having my picture taken for work on Monday and I wasn't feeling the mediumish hair any longer. Just got it buzzed on a 3.5 blade (had to walk 20 blocks until I found a place that was open and didn't try to charge me 18 bucks).

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I generally have quite long hair, though it hasn't been as insane as it was in high school when my fringe - which curled - could be pulled down to my chin. I've gone shorter than usual, though I've never had a buzzcut and nothing this short since when I was about 16 I reckon. I wanted to go a bit shorter than usual due to the insane summer heat though and this way I don't need a hair cut for months and months anyway.
