I never said you couldn't challenge for top 4 i said you couldn't challenge Arsenal for the league.

Yes i don't visit the Liverpool section very often anymore because i'm considered an hater whose opinion is not valid so i don't bother.

No finishing top 4 isn't meaningless, maybe to you but to many people its very meaningful as its qualifying for Europe and the relegation battle is very meaningful to a lot of people.

The only thing that is meaningless is mid table mediocrity.... as long as you achieve something what ever that maybe the end justify the means.

Not sure why it matters anyway, because its only 4 points and Arsenal have to play Everton, City and Chelsea over Christmas.

You are acting like they are ten points clear and unbeaten, they have dropped points and arguably had the easiest fixture list of that lot.....

If the PL is shit i hate to know what the other leagues are.

what the *bleep* are you on about? top 4 and all the modern day crap about finishing midtable ARE meaningless. the only reason liverpool is "historic" is because they challenged for SILVERWARE in the past; not this top 4 "trophy". hopefully the current crop of players understand this and stop being so hopeless with this modern day mentality. only suarez has this champion mentality, and hes pretty much sold in the next summer window, hell madrid might even get him in january.

anyway, its arsenals league to lose. whoever doesnt see that is simply looking at the table and not watching games. like i said earlier, city cant buy a win away from home. arsenal have the best away record and second best record at home. arsenal should beat chelsea with ease if chelsea continue to play the way they have and arsenals midfield looking so dominate. ask any chelsea fan and they'll tell you they've been meh all season and have scraped through wins, wins they woulnt have got if they played quality, quality this leagur doesnt have this aeason. this season is as predictable as last season. arsenal, chelsea, city top 3, 3 teams fighting for a 4th spot for "entertainment"

Wow just wow, Arsenal are doing well for sure. But you won't hear any Arsenal fan say it's theirs to lose, you acting like they are Bayern or some kind of machine. Chelsea haven't been meh all season we've been inconsistent, but this is about Arsenal so no side track. Arsenal just lost to Man Utd 2 weeks ago, no one can match them? I'm not writing Arsenal off but their biggest tests are yet to come, lets see how they overcome that before saying it's theirs to lose.

We have to factor in winning mentality etc into this, I remember before that Gallas breakdown vs Brummys how people said the title was ending up at Arsenal.

It's only December you tool, unless this is some kind of jinx but still what a tool and a crybaby. The league is FAR from over.

No you just realize your not good enough and having a good cry.... i guarantee none of this would have been said if you didn't lose to Hull

Also there is competition.... its 4 points which is f*cking nothing in this league and it easily changes in one week for instance Arsenal have lost twice this season do that again and they are not top anymore

Liverpool can't compete =/= there is no competition, everyone loves a good cry though.

I read the Liverpool section and I can confirm ynwa has been on the team's back since day 1. Even when they were top, he was saying we're shit and we'll fall. So it's definitely not a reaction to the Hull defeat.

PL is not shit...but I hope Arsenal starts dropping some points soon, because considering we're gonna beat both Chelsea n City away in the next weeks, Arsenal must also drop points or the gap will be way too much.

it is so in all leagues of europe , it's the european football in this moment...with a team that wins almost always in every league...
but anyway , in spite of everything ,PL is the league where there is' greater unpredictability . In Italy there is no competition even for CL qualification , for example..

The "PL being shit" is a subjective opinion. You cannot coerce someone into thinking otherwise or prove otherwise given there is no concrete basis in differing from its polar extremities.

If one thinks it is a shit league, it is near futile to persuade otherwise, outside the questioning of ones opinion.

Lambert hasn't scored from open play this season while Michu and Benteke have both been shit for the most part.

He has been injured but ignoring that he's scored like 2 in his last 20 something games.... he's been found out.

Anyway its not that surprising, it always happens players come into the league who none of the defenders have a clue about and they shine.

Once defenders adapt to their game, only the real quality players come back and shine once defenders understand their game.... like Aguero for example.

I think Gil is being harsh on Lambert though, sure his goals from open play have dried up a bit but i think that's due to sharing the goals around a bit more having more quality around him.

His link up play and hold up play is still great.

Benteke was playing very well before before getting injured
4 goals and could be 5 but Mignolet did a great save last minutes...
then after the injury has toiled , the groin injury is always a problem for players, they struggle to find his best form

with the already placed arguments about Arsenal far from winning it... I think they are 1 or 2 injuries away from losing some points, although they have some players coming back from injury, we are never sure how they will perform immediately after coming back from injury. So it is alive and i think the race may go to the end 3-4 fixtures also because I think Pellegrini and Mourinho sides can hit the ground in second half and they might start to fly

Lol, at the time that post was regarding the possible signing of Suarez but still Ozil is just as good at what he does so the point probably means the same.

I just saw a team which wasn't that far away and ended the season extremely strongly.

I didn't expect Ramsey and Giroud to improve like this though, i don't think anyone did.

Ramsey is the surprise to me, Giroud was always in great positions last season but just couldn't finish consistently enough.

I'm still not sold on Arsenal winning the title, but they are using the "United" strategy better than anyone else right now.
