Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
lol Paulinho has probably been Spurs best midfielder this season. He efficiently does his job.

I really don't get it why Defoe is still left on the bench. He's been beasting it in EL and his style is quite different to Soldado - with whom they've struggled to score goals and now he can't even hit the target from 10 yards out!sportsczy wrote:
Soldado is very average imo. I thought he was overrated at Valencia to begin with.

Defoe sucks. Soldado is the better option even with the scoring drought.Art Morte wrote:I really don't get it why Defoe is still left on the bench. What would Defoe offer which Soldado doesn't? there is zero service and Defoe doesn't offer anything extra outside the box.
Anyway 2-2.... Roonay.

Friedel never should have been dropped to begin with.

Wow, what a goal by Sandro.
Oh well, great dive by Welbeck That's the type of diving that will kill the game, not the Ashley Young variety, but the "contact foul" NBA variety.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
To be fair my chief complaint about Soldado is that when we are on the break he constantly makes the wrong run. We saw in the breakout just before the goal he cut inside instead of out wide where the through ball should of been played. By making the wrong run he killed the play.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
It was a clear pen anyone saying otherwise is a clown. No need for LOLris to come charging out there either.
Dawson had Welbeck well marshaled and it's *bleep* Danny Welbeck anyway.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
You guys can convince yourselves all you want that Paulinho is a great but the majority of Spurs fans in some forums I regularly read want Dembele and Sandro to start in the centre midfield. Higher up the pitch they want one of Eriksen/Holtby to add some creativity in midfield. I don't see why they would want him out of their first XI if he was their best midfielder.

He clearly has.... he conceded like 6 goals before that concussion lol.
Your hate blinds you as always, idiotic to suggest it hasn't had an impact.
