Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
I was not comparing the two fouls. Just showing mole that something that like could have been given in EPL.free_cat wrote:Not coming together, Arteta trips Chamakh on his left foot.ronalessi wrote:coming together got Arteta a red card today in EPL
I think Mascherano's challenge on Ronaldo was a penalty, he pushed him with his arm. In the other angle it's clear. But Cesc also was penaltied by Pepe, so we are actually even.
I think a penalty would have made a big difference as it happened in the 73rd. It could have helped with momentum. Super Benzema would have come on earlier maybe?
Although, if Fabregas got a penalty, it could have turned into manita.
Sanchez though

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
Well for one, Chamakh didn't have the ball
Point two, where in the rules does it say that, if player A and player B trip each other up and player B has the ball, that player A has committed a foul?

Hopefully the next Clasico is at night. Feels much better and atmosphere is better too. During the day it feels too casual.

Arteta trips chamakh, unvoluntarily, that's true, but he trips him. Hence a foul. It's completely unarguable.Lex wrote:Well for one, Chamakh didn't have the ball

They don't trip each other, because it's Arteta who challenges Chamackh, who has the ball.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
Also, the ref never seen legs tangling. The ref thought he saw a massive body check or something. I dunno what he saw, but there's no way he saw the legs tangling that we can see in the slow motion gif.
poor decision to give a red card, but shit happens in every league now and then. That's all I was saying.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
and by the way, for those who are questioning why ramos was playing in the middle... didnt ancelotti expect messi to play there? i heard tata found out about madrids lineup in the afternoon and therefore switched messi to the wing to give him more space. ramos was completely lost in the middle because he had no one to mark in the defense and not enough room to participate in attack.

I think you can get a full license cheaper than that in Spain, but the License A to be able to coach in first division it's a three year course.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
Catalan TV and radios filtered Barça lineup yesterday. So Tata already decided to play Messi as RW.Collblanc wrote:and by the way, for those who are questioning why ramos was playing in the middle... didnt ancelotti expect messi to play there? i heard tata found out about madrids lineup in the afternoon and therefore switched messi to the wing to give him more space. ramos was completely lost in the middle because he had no one to mark in the defense and not enough room to participate in attack.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
It is shameful for any club to publish about refereeing decisions that costed them the game as their main headline. It really is, you can mention that maybe their were some controvesial decisions but not like the referee costed the game. They are basically calling the referee a cheat and no matter what level of football you play, any player that call a referee a cheat is given a straight direct red card. If players get fined/sent off for such similar circumstances I believe clubs should get fined as well.

Yes, Rac1 and Tv3 also. It seems tata trained with this lineup on friday.Collblanc wrote:thanks didnt know this, heard it after the game that the lineup was leaked and because of that messi was played 'out of position'. did rac1 leak it??free_cat wrote:Catalan TV and radios filtered Barça lineup yesterday. Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
They're not calling the ref a cheat, they're claiming that he made the wrong decisions - there's a big difference. Still, I get what you're saying.. it's quite unprofessional for a club's official site to publish something like that. Also, I don't know why they included the handball by Sanchez. It didn't look intentional, and I don't think it would have made much of a difference if he hadn't touched the ball with his hand... it was hardly "a clear penalty", like that headline would have you believe. The Sanchez wrote:

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
Excessive ref bashing is often punishable for players by the RFEF, knowing this RM as an institution should not get involved in such actions as they could face fines. And if the reports of Ronaldo telling the ref "You are a fearful f***" is quite disgraceful, even if it was made in a moment of heat. Players have been sent off for less than that.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
The only other time I've seen shown a straight red for something that innocuous is Ozil against Villareal lol. If a referee decides to send off someone for insulting him, he has serious issues.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
We were better for most of the match, but still we were lucky to win it, such a strange game. That late goal as well, I thought we would keep a cleanm sheet vs Real for once, but no, meh.
As soon as I saw Bale start I thought Real would struggle up front. No Isco for the last 2 big games now, its puzzling, since hes done so well. Maybe Ancelotti is under pressure to play the stars Di Maria had a poor game, Ronaldo was frustrated as But still we should have done better, we have been on top form and with a more consistent team now than Real.... Messi could have played better I thought....in the end Neymar and Iniesta bosses it, Macherano making mistake nowadays again Great thing Sanchez made the difference while Cesc struggle in the big game again.... happy with Valdes.

Re: Predictions for El Clasico?
messi on wings is not nothing, it nullified marcelo attack as well.
never seen marcelo had such a shaky performance. his leg literally shaking on 1 or 2 dribbling.
