His first season is irrelevant, lots of average players have had better first seasons the PL. Fact is it takes a while for PL defenders to adjust to new players but once they do only the truly great players continue to adapt and shine.

Don't care what he's done against lol liga scrubs, nothing has really changed and he'll never be better than Benzema.

first clasico: came on off the bench, rattled the crossbar with a simple turn that left your mid and defense frozen and played a through to khedira who bleep up, link up with di maria that should've a been a pen on masch when fouled cr, and again linked up with cr which ended with jese scoring

second clasico: he destroyed you , scored a brace and constantly terrorizing your defense, passed a backheel through ball in your box ffs

copa final again your team couldn't handle him, just did whatever he wanted when he wanted, made that delicious assist for di maria

Agree that it is not his fault but there is no point in making a big fuss about it if your team loses the game. If you're decisive in a victory that is much more important.

If Bale destroyed Barca but we still lost Chad would probably post a rofl smiley and call people clowns for making a big deal about it if someone said he played great.

No one hates Benzema, many people can get annoyed with him though. However people do hate chad's blind fanboyism (sport as well when he is in one of his "Everything French is the best" modes)
