What Roma can do is do what ALL the others teams do. Complain about the referees when you are penalized. Don't be the exception and don't take the high road. Do the b**** like everyone does. Napoli made a fuss about the penalty against us. In the next game they took 2 penalties, with at least one of them non-existant, in the first 20 minutes. Game over after 20 minutes.

In the same way make noise when the referee didn't give the second yellow at Muriel at Udinse. Maybe at Torino the referee would be more careful and would see the foul at Benatia or the penalty at Pjanic. Make noise after the game at Torino, maybe againt Sassuolo the referee would give a penalty at Ljajic. I don't know, is it so much to ask?

Meanwhile Juventus's opening goal against Napoli should have been disallowed for an offside offence.

It is impossible for Roma to win scudetto with the state of refereeing in Serie A
What about Roma's wrong penalty call against Inter when the game was at 1-0 ? Thats right the tackle on Gervinho was outside the box.Could the game have been ended differently if that penalty was not handed and the game wouldnt have been dead and buried by half time ?

Or that penalty against Napoli which from different angles and replays looked like a dubious call.If you're going to complain atleast be consistent. And Roma has become GL's hipster team of sorts so there isnt going to be much noise when they are at the receiving end of wrong calls.

Despite that all this doesnt matter to me because Roma deserve to be topping the table right now but this complaining peasant attitude will take the club nowhere and only doing more harm to yourselves basically.

check my post about what Roma can do 2 or 3 above , the penalty against Napoli was rather clear foul and the other is even more controversial given to the fact that it was against Inter ! about a hipster thing ,since when following a team thats currently on top of table became something that hipsters do?,zeman's Roma was rther a team a hipster would follow ,this in my opinion is a team that can do something great but being stopped by either poor quality referees or .....

Juve to fill Curvas with kids
The two Curvas at the Juventus Stadium could be populated by children for the Juventus-Udinese Serie A game.

As it stands, those two sections of the ground – behind each goal – will be closed to supporters as a punishment for territorial discrimination chants aimed at the city of Naples during the 3-0 win over Napoli.

The Curva Nord will be closed for 90 minutes, while the Curva Sud will be shut for two games – thus will also be empty for the Sassuolo tie.

However, after an initiative by Turin daily Tuttosport, those two parts of the arena may now be filled with kids instead of Ultras.

Italian Olympic Committee chief Giovanni Malago and Italian Football Federation President Giancarlo Abete are in favour of such a move.

Rivalry aside..

This might've been the hardest decision Moratti did, he realized he could not sustain the club by himself. So, for the good of the club, he sold it. Not because of the backlash, but for the fans and the future. That, i can dig.

If only some owners were this honorable and graceful.

Livorno rally for Luci's son

Livorno fans are raising funds after captain Andrea Luci revealed his six-year-old son is suffering from a rare disease.

This week the midfielder and wife Lisa learned their son has Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, also known as Stone Man Syndrome.

Mutations cause fibrous tissue, including muscles and tendons, to become solid and add bone in its place. It affects approximately one in every two million children.

Livorno fans rushed to his aid, as this Sunday’s Serie A match against Juventus will see the Curva Nord hold a fund-raising drive for charity researching into the disease.
=====================================================================

Burdisso's open letter to Luci

Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso wrote a touching open letter to Livorno captain Andrea Luci, whose son has a rare disease.

Luci admitted this week that his six-year-old son is suffering from a very rare genetic disease, Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.

Livorno fans have rushed to raise funds for research into the condition and today Roma defender Burdisso sent this message.

“Andrea, this is the most important match you will ever have to face. As a father who has been through a difficult illness along with my daughter, I can advise you only to keep going, always, with faith in God and doing everything you possibly can.

“Do not think about the end result, but rather try to fight day after day, for Marco and for your family. All will go well...

“I and the entire Roma squad embrace you at this moment. With time, this will all be just a memory. Forza!”

Burdisso put his career on hold in 2004, as a few months after joining Inter his two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

He returned to Argentina and President Massimo Moratti told the player he could have as much time as he needed, rejecting Burdisso’s offer to terminate the contract.

The defender eventually did come back to resume his Inter career after seven months of looking after his daughter.

Chiellini before the game with Livorno left some flowers on the stadium in Morosini's honor.

btw he was booed by Livorno fans because Chiellini is born and raised near Livorno and had quite enough games for them. Last year when Livorno were playing play offs for Serie A he was there in the Stands and cheered for them along with Diamanti.

The 2013-14 Calcio Saga Episode II - Page 9 Empty I think im starting to HATE AC Milan

Post by zizzle Mon Nov 25, 2013 8:46 pm

So AC Milan have made a request to build a stadium in the exact same spot that Inter is planning to build on. When Moratti and Thohir went to meet with the governor of the Lombardia region (where the spot is) the *Bleeep* wore an AC Milan tie. He is a Milanista. Needless to say Moratti was not amused. Im guessing Milan, aka too broke to buy a decent CB, will get the spot now eh..

It could also be a conspiracy to force Inter to share the new stadium with Milan since they cant afford to build their own...
