Premier League - Everton vs Chelsea
Chelsea's Premier League Matchday 4 fixture takes place on Saturday, September 14 at Goodison Park
The corresponding fixture last season saw Chelsea become the first and only side to beat Everton at Goodison for the entire 12/13 campaign, as a brace from Super Frank Lampard on his way to the magic 203 saw Rafa Benitez's side take all 3 points at a notoriously tricky ground to travel to.
This will be the first game for both sides in over 2 weeks, due to the international break following the weekend of the 31st for World Cup Qualifiers that will see club football off on a 14-day sabbatical just weeks into the new season.
A surprise recent connection between these two sides comes in the form of Romelu Lukaku, who, in the figurative 11th hour of the transfer window on deadline day, completed a hugely unexpected loan move to the Merseyside outfit, where he'll now spend the next year plying his trade and continuing his development.
While Lukaku himself cannot feature in this match due to the parent club restrictions in England, there could well be several debutantes on show for both sides. Gareth Barry and James McCarthy could make their debuts for the Toffees after their last-minute deadline day transfers from Manchester City and Wigan respectively, while once-superstar Samuel Eto'o could start up front for Chelsea after his free transfer to London last week.
The only injury concern for Saturday's hosts is center-half Antolín Alcaraz, though the Paraguayan, who followed manager Roberto Martinez from the DW to Goodison Park this summer, is expected to be fit by matchday. Chelsea, alternatively, will be made to wait on the status of Eden Hazard, who is currently being sidelined from even training with his national side with an achilles problem, which José Mourinho will certainly be hoping has passed by the time this match rolls around. David Luiz is fit and available for selection after playing in Chelsea's Super Cup match against Bayern Munich last week, having missed the first 3 Premier League games of the season with a hamstring injury.
Happy Birthday to former assistant manager and club legend
Ray Wilkins, whose birthday coincides with this matchday
-----
The match kicks off at 5:30pm BST

Yeah, I really want to see Eto'o in this match!
Let's go thrash them
Also, I'd be surprised not to see Willian feature.
Cech
Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole
Ramires Lampard/Van Ginkel
Mata Oscar Schurre/Willian
Eto'o

I think he'll start. Our CL group is not the hardest so we can play Ba or Torres in that game.
Everton will be the harder team so play Eto'o. Plus, the fans want to get a good look at him!

+ Torres is a tad bit better in CL games.. yeah I'm laughing at what I wrote but its true.
Re: Premier League - Everton vs Chelsea
Torres certainly plays better when it's not in the EPL.

The myth that he's 'better in Europe' is founded on his goals in the Europa League last season against absolute cannon fodder. His Champions League goals for us are as follows:
2 - KRC Genk
2 - FC Nordsjælland
1 - Shakhtar
1 - Barcelona
So that's 6 goals in 20 games since joining.
He's no less shitty in Europe than he is in everything else.

True. Messhit has never scored against Barcelona. Clearly makes Torres the better player
