CB you play any club ball or travel teams?

Club with the local team. I live between Sheboygan and Green Bay...we don't really play any teams farther than those two areas though, for the most part. So we travel, but not very far.

Still a bit confused as to what a "travel team" is, but my club team travels to away games, yes we do Very Happy

My club team used to be quite good (played with a bunch of the guys from my high school team) but then some of the better players on the team went to Green Bay to play club ball there. Fair enough I guess, I'm one of the better players too but I decided to stay because I won't be playing college footy and I'd rather not have to make a 30-40 minute trek just to practice and I'd rather support the local club team which I've been a part of for a long time, ref for, and coach for. Anyway, now we suck, but we still have fun.

In Florida we have 3 teams essentially: School, Club, and Travel teams (which sometimes are club teams). The first two speak for themselves, but "Travel Teams" are teams comprised of the best players in an area traveling to national tournaments to compete and get noticed by scouts (pro and college).

We have them for essentially for every sport in Florida. Also the reason why we have so many 1 sport athletes these days.
