If they pass Trencin, Steaua will play in UCL quali against Partizan Belgrad(again bad luck at draws, they were the worst case scenario)

Partizan will be difficult to beat but not impossible. I am confident that Radoi's Steaua will reach at least the level it reached with Reghecampf.

Without hope, quality squad, hard work and dedication nothing can be achieved. We have all of them.

Yeah, and our coach requested another player from Cluj this night.

Tomorrow will be the second match against Trencin. The slovaks will have to recover a handicap of two goals at Bucharest.

At 24 July we will have the draws for World Cup 2018. I can't believe where we are in FIFA rankings in Europe. The ranking system is so f up

Anyway, it's interesting how our coach Radoi (former Steaua player and captain for few years, known as anti-Dinamo and a legend for our club, let's say like Gerrard for Liverpool) get rid of all players who played for Dinamo: Luchin, Tamas and Tucudean.
They were good players and first I was pretty upset after I saw what he has done, but maybe this is the way he wants to bring back the spirit of Steaua and looks like the strategy worked till now.

Steaua 1-1 CFR Cluj

Steaua played with their second line-up to protect players for the match against Partizan.

Partizan also played today against Jagodina and won with 6-0.

Considering that, and our weak match made with Trencin, I'm very concerned about the qualification in play-off.
It's very important for Steaua to pass Partizan, because in play-off it's very probable that they'll have to play against a weaker team than Partizan.
So considering both teams evolutions in last matches, I sadly say that Partizan is the favourite team to go further, if our players continue to play below their real value.

Yes. Everything was just fine until the elimination of our captain: Varela. After that, we felt down both phisically and mentally.

Got City in the UCL Play-offs draw. We must kill'em, because surely we can't beat them!

Well, try to go for an upset. Unfancied YB managed to kick out Shakhtar after they were down 0:2 in the first leg.

Steaua are already in normal match rhythm in the league, while ManCity's pre-season was a trip around the world, so do your very best!
