Steaua Bucharest

Reghecampf knows how to keep the players at the club. He motivates them very well.

But we (me, Ciprian, Ion Creanga) are all Steaua fans.

Do you regularly watch Steaua? How do you know about Tanase and Gardos?

I hope that you will post more often in this thread.

I hardly get a chance to see Steaua in action. I do like what they have been doing as of late. Last season they gave Chelsea a real run for their money. That was really nice to see. This season I will observe them more closely.

I like Romania in general. I'm not descended or anything but I know I'm somehow drawn to that place.

Maybe it's the women.

Oh, Tanase and Gardos have played for the Romania NT, which I watch regularly.

The NT is on the right path. They'll have to play against Hungary and Turkey next weeks. If they beat them, we will probably finish 2nd in the group after Netherlands. However, it will be difficult for us to qualify at the World Cup because we will have to play in 'play-offs'. We could meet teams like Portugal or France.

Yes, Tanase is a key player for us, but Gardos was our substitute until Chiriches left. Now, the club is trying to find a replacement for Chiriches.
In my opinion, our best player is Bourceanu, the captain. He, also, plays at NT.

Guys, what happened to Dynamo! They used to be one of the 'big two' but I haven't heard of them lately.

It's Dinamo, not Dynamo. They are in a bad position at the moment. Weak players, young players; they don't have money. Overall, they are a weak team.

New players for UCL. Fernando Varela (Vaslui) and Kapetanos(CFR Cluj) signed with Steaua.

Plus, Boateng's prescence will be felt. Hopefully Steaua salvage a point, at least.

Schalke didn't switch their manager. Jens Keller is in charge since last December now. Interestingly, it is mainly KPB's addition that pushed Schalke to perform again. It will not be easy for Steaua to take one or the other point out of the Veltins-Arena, I guess.

It will be a taft thing to win at Veltins. Schalke won their last two matches with good teams (Leverkusen and Maintz).

Agreed. I can confirm they didn't switch the manager, I watched Keller at the pre-match press conference.

I also can confirm what Ciprian said. Reghecampf is very confident that we can win; he didn't say he is sure that we will win, he is sure that we can win which is in fact a good thing.

I hope Steaua will win the game, but objectively speaking I think we will loose the game. Schalke are very strong at Veltins Arena, amazing atmosphere there.

KPB isn't the only player to follow from Schalke, I'd say Farfan is at least at the same level with KPB...this only one example.

To be fair, Draxler is a very talented player but we can stop him; he is still young and unexperienced while our midfielders and defenders are a little bit older and they have more experience.

A stupid mistake in defence made the entire match.

Didn't know that.

I remembered watching Huub Stevens last season at then I saw him at PAOK at the CL Qualifiers this season. I assumed HS moved to PAOK for this season. My bad  

Well, it looks like Steaua's blunders did them in at the Schalke match. Reminded me Of CSKA's performance against Bayern. Steaua really need to focus for the next one.

It's something wrong with our attitude. I think we have a disappointment with this competition from the mistake between Tatarusanu and Szukala at Schalke (1-0). I don't see Steaua fans, anymore, in this topic with comments. I think they aren't real fans and they are leaving the team alone when it's hard.
I'm disappointed.
