Also surprised to see he benched Alba. Not that I disagree, but I am glad that Tata isn't going to be afraid to bench the "starters"

Funny i was just thinking that I hope Tata doesn't use this match as a gauge to see if we actually need a CB or not. Cause we won't be facing the Levante's of the world in the UCL

hahahha....interesting many of our tactical need is getting fulfilled (atleast seems to be)
i like that pedro finish, not good to always make selfless passes...we need that clinical finishing

It is too early to say but what the hell, I think with a good CB you'll have a good chance in CL. If only you hadn't let Thiago leave to a direct CL rival.

I doubt this game will influence anything.

Mascherano and Pique had very VERY little to do, this is no reflection of their ability defensively.

Agreed. Barcelona looks absolutely amazing right now no doubt but like you said Levante is no Man U, Bayern etc

I LOVE the pressing and our defense should do better this season because of it, but what happens when we face a team like Bayern that can break the press? I'm not going to pretend that Pique and Masch will be a lot better and be good enough because they probably won't be.

Same thing with why we need Neymar.

Its intresting that Xavi is playing to the left of Busquets rather than the right as he usually would. Though of course he always moves everywhere.

The most impressive aspect of today has been its a team oriented performance offensively and defensively.

Everyone has put in the work defensively and there has been no over reliance on anyone going forward and the goals are all team.

Of course, consistency and big game performances are what will define the team.
