I think CB was shocked that Red Dead was missing on your list Red not Gears and Fable.

I could be wrong though.

Playing Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time at the moment, think it will be added to be list of honorable mentions really enjoying it at the moment.

This was hard. List in no particular order btw. Honorable mentions to Oblivion, Assassin's Creed II, Uncharted 2, COD 4, Heavy Rain, God Of War III, Gears Of War, Halo, FIFA 10, Far Cry 3, Walking Dead, Resistance 3, Journey etc.

If PSP games post 2005 is also accepted then you can easily add Peace Walker, Ghost Of Sparta and GTA Chinatown Wars.

I know, but I figured since I was addressing the one of concern I might as well address the lot.

All of the recent Ratchet & Clank games (single player, anyway) have been fantastic.  Though the mini-games in A Crack in Time were so annoying they actually lowered my overall enjoyment of it compared to the previous game where you could fight dinosaurs with controllable tornadoes.

 recently i started playing silent hill book of memories and like it as one the favorites , resident evil is always fun to play , Persian prince was awesome , heavenly sword , uncharted ,
