Sky Sources understand Liverpool winger Stewart Downing is to have a medical at West Ham today after they agreed a fee for his services.

Sky Sports understands that a £5million deal has been agreed and Downing is due in London on Monday to undergo a medical.

Thauvin shown up late to camp, won't train hard and didn't even watch his teammates from the stands this weekend. He's asked to leave Lille once Rudi Garcia left and so far they've refused.

But it looks like he's going to play hardball and OM have offered 7.5 mil for him. He wants to join OM and has said so publicly.

What a team OM would have if Thauvin joined! Payet/Valbuena/Thauvin is massively creative and Imbula is going to be a beast imo in terms of ball recovery. Not sold on Gignac at all, but Khlifa is signed and he offers insurance. If Thauvin is being pursued, Gomis will be dropped.

Arsenal are in talks with Bayern Munich over midfielder Luiz Gustavo, although the Brazilian is interesting a number of clubs, according to Sky Sports.

Talks are ongoing between Arsenal and the German giants over a potential deal for the midfielder.

A deal of £15million is being reported and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed over the weekend talks were ongoing.

It has been claimed that a deal was close, but Bayern's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says Gustavo has a number of different options and he had not yet decided on his destination.

"Luiz has offers from England, Spain, Russia and Germany. The player has not made a decision, yet," he is quoted by Abendzeitung Muenchen.

Reports in Italy also claimed that Napoli could be ready to join the hunt for the 26-year-old.

However Corriere dello Sport says he said no to Wolfsburg.

There are suggestions that Eto'o could take a pay-cut to 5-6m euros a year(NET).On a short term contract ,something like 2 year deal + option to extend for another year,i think it could be possible.
