It would be a costly and inappropriate purchase with such a promising young centre forward such as Destro in the squad. Roma would be best served keeping Osvaldo, however if he was to leave, they would be better off finding a bargain forward and investing any further funds into their defence first and foremost.

QPR have failed with a bid for Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker, according to Sky sources.

Harry Redknapp, who has also enquired about Jermain Defoe, sanctioned the unsuccessful offer for his former player earlier this week.

Rangers must now decide whether to go back with a second bid for the 32-year-old, but in the meantime Redknapp has identified another target in Liverpool's Oussama Assaidi.

The Morocco winger was signed from Heerenveen last summer in a £2.4m deal but did not start once in last season's Premier League.

QPR want him on loan, and talks with Liverpool over a deal are ongoing.

poor Sakho, disrespected by PSG. He deserves better and should leave to a good club like Milan but they have no cash. Maybe utd since they still cant sign Garay
