Eredivisie Thread
Eredivisie 2013-14 kicked off yesterday with Ajax beating Roda JC 3-0. Both Alderweireld and Eriksen played full 90 minutes.

Mickey Mouse League - only team that can win it is the one with decent amount of money: Ajax. And look how they do in CL. Just look at how many points this league has lost last year, might as well start a topic about the Bulgarian league because that is where this one is going quality wise.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Mickey Mouse league? Last season Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV and Vitesse fought for the title until the last few weeks of the season. You can call it a weak league and whatever but not a Mickey Mouse league...

Firstly, McAgger
Best league in the world.
Secondly, Collblanc.
You're an idiot. Your whole post is just... wrong.
Ajax don't have money. Infact, the Eredivisie is in the same bracket as the La Liga in terms of the amount of cash each teams have if you take away Barcelona and Real Madrid. (And we all know that they get their money from the government...)
If you looked last year, 4 teams were fighting for the league. (Vitesse dropped out in the last 5 games or so.) Ajax JUST won it. PSV also has a better team than Ajax this year.
Ajax were put in a group with Man City, Dortmund (finalists) and Real Madrid (a team you struggled to beat and semi-finalists). They were in the group of death ffs. And still managed to get into the Europa.

I know Ajax will not reach their dizzy heights of '70s and '80s, but just wish they become a steady team with decent European track.

To add to this:Butt wrote:Maher , Fischer, Bakkali, Henriksen, Indi, Vrij (Capitan at 21), Castaignos, Willems, Clasie etc

Lucas Anderson, player from AZ think his name is Gouwe something, Fernando from AZ, Boilsesen from Ajax, Eriksen, Bojan (I have faith in the lad), Siggurdson is class but always injured, Wijnaldum (sort of stagnated for a couple of seasons, but has started off solid this year to maintain his form from the second half of last year), and theres one from FC Gronigen. He's 17, his name escapes me. (It's not Texeira)

They'll try there best to compete in Europe, but they hard it very tough last year being in a group of Madrid, Dortmund and City.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Vitesse will bottle it like they normally do when it counts.
Expecting PSV to win it by the end of it. Even if they're like 3 games behind.
"Main men" for Ajax struggling without Eriksen; Fischer / Anderson / Siem De Jong can't get their games going but they're only 2 points away from first in second place so it's not all bad for them.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Vittese won't even have to bottle it. They only have 1.8 points per game which shouldn't be enough to win the league imo. Most teams (including us) started the season in a bad way but we're on our way back and will soon overtake Vitesse if they can't improve on the 1.8ppg.
How is Andersen a main man? Last season he played 12! minutes for us. He's only a talent right now. But you're right regarding Fischer and de Jong. Especially Fischer has been simply shit this season. Probably the worst out of the regular players. You could include Kenneth Vermeer (goalkeeper) who lost his spot too Cillessen.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Harsh, Vitesse have won 4 and drawed 1 in their last 5 games, they're in great form as of right now. I don't think they'll win it though, not without Bony anyway.
Anderson has been more involved this season than compared to last, but he's still a back up I agree.
I put main men in quotation marks because I watch Ajax for mainly for those 3 players right now. I used to watch a lot of Ajax for Eriksen, and Suarez before him, but it's a pity Eriksen went to Spurs. So yeah, definitely wasn't calling Andersen a key player, yet. Kid is class though, and I expect him to take on Bojan's role sometime in the future.
Boilesen is another I rate highly, and has had a great season thus far.
I think people are way too harsh on Fischer this season. Yeah, he hasn't had a great season compared to last, but last year Eriksen had a lot of the attention and Fischer had a free role. Viktor is closed down a lot more now, and Ajax aren't making as much "clear cut" chances before when Eriksen was there so I hope people don't regard Fischer as a "flop", he just has to adapt to being a key player which he hasn't done before. He most definitely has the talent to succeed as being the main man though, just give him time. (Not saying you're not, but people are already labelling him as a 'flop'.
Oh, and it's great to have an Ajax fan on the board.

Boilesen out for rest of the year, so sad for him.. such a nice guy, and already so injury proned. Hope he recovers, and doesn't get another injury. Luckily the new injury is in another leg in the one that kept him out all of last year. How is Lucas Andersen doing btw?

Feyenoord beat PSV 3-1 surprise result.
Both Vitesse and Ajax dominantly win. Vitesse stay first, still only 2 points above Ajax.
Viktor Fischer is back.

Disappointed with PSV this season. Looked like favourites at the start of the season, but they do have a very young squad.

What do you mean? You beat a team that didn't care for the win. How is the Europa League doing? LOL - pls go with this idea Ajax means something in Europe. Shit league, shit teams. Re: Eredivisie Thread
What does that make Barca seemingly that they lost against even Ajax?
Shittier Team Shittier League?
I don't mean to justify Ajax, they dont have the financial means to hold on to talents and hence will only be a training school. They are not a top team and given their current financial state, will probably never be

Please show some more respect for your brother club. We gave your club everything, it would be nice if you could post with some dignity. One of the most disgraceful posts I have ever seen on this forum. I expected much better from you Collblanc.
