Eredivisie star "blocked" by Juventus.......

Seems as though Daryl Janmaat is set to join Juventus; his agent and Paratici have agreed a deal reportedly worth 1.4m euro for 4 years, Feyenoord have set a 8m euro price tag for the RWB.

I am not sure how the rest of you gentlemen feel, but I have followed this player for the past 1 year; he is along the lines of a Zambrotta-type player, ridiculously underrated. Juve should immediately make the deal with Feyenoord happen, he will be a star!!!!

I don't watch that league at all, so I will not pass judgement

All I will say is that we do need better wing-backs.


For me, only Licht is good enough to help us progress, and he's getting older.


If Janmaat is a very good, young player he could play LWB until Licht declines and then give him a run at RWB whilst looking for a LWB.

I'd like it if we went after Coentrao, we'd be much better off with two capable wing-backs, considering the wing backs are so important for our system.

He is great going forward, very much a winger, rather than a RB. He has some good technique, can dribble, and very accurate crosses
