Question to Eredivisie fans - your opinion about Dusan Tadic and you rate him in 0-10 scale.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
I'd give him a 6, but can be potentially be a 7.
He's pretty good, probably is at the age where he needs to leave the Eredivisie to progress further.
He can play anywhere behind a CF, but best out on the left so he could cut in on his right foot. Has good vision and passing too. Decent crosser and is a goal threat.

He's overrated. Decent talent but he won't be an impact player at a top club and I wouldn't call him pacey at all, lol He would be better as a striker I think but he prefers the wing so. Very predictable in his dribbling and tries to take on his man too much...he killed off quite a few attacks when he played for the Netherlands constantly trying the same thing over and over and failing for the most part.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
It's tough in the Netherlands right now, but if you want to follow the top talents from each year right now it looks something like this:
'95: Daley Sinkgraven (my fav), Sheraldo Becker and Kenny Tete
'96: Jairo Riedewald and Riechedly Bazoer
'97 (really strong year): Donny van de Beek, Steven Bergwijn, Abdelhak Nouri, Frenkie de Jong and Calvin Verdonk
There are a few others to mention but those are the ones really worth following for now.

I went through the EXACT same process with curtinho last year

Can't say that the kid made a huge splash since so I'm inclined to believe curt was and is right.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Regarding el Ghazi the short story is: He's crap. At least as a winger. Don't really want to go into detail because it's kind of a waste. He can score goals, that's it. And his goalscoring ability is overrated aswell. Maybe he'd make a good striker but I can't see him becoming a good winger. He'd have to improve on every aspect of his game basically. But you never know, maybe he can
Don't really agree with Becker on Curtinhos list. Seems good for a club like Zwolle but a dutch subtop club is probably his level at the moment.

Actually probably more talented and intelligent as a player than Memphis. Not really sure what happened to him last season...whether it was a lack of confidence or motivation but he fell off big time. I've only seen one game of him with Basel but he looked good. I think he is young and still needs to find himself a bit but if he ever fills out athletically and gets his head sorted out he could be a very, very good player. Still young and lots of time for that.

That's precisely what I though at the time, a smarter Depay. Haven't seen him in a long time though.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Well he doesn't have the same aggression, self-confidence and physique as Memphis though which is important to the style that Memphis plays (or the same shot). They're a bit different but yeah, smarter and more technical better with link-up, one-twos, has a better reading of the game and is two-footed.
Still the mental side is where Memphis is quite strong (or has been up to now) as well as having an extremely powerful shot (that really outclasses Boetius') and self-confidence.
We'll see moving forward. Right now obviously Memphis is quite ahead after Boetius took a step back. The change of scenery might have been good for him though. He's still young though like I said to lots of time to meet his potential.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Yeah but two seasons ago Memphis wasn't the same player though. Wasn't so developed physically and they were more similar IMO. Memphis then went into some CR7 mutation, or whatever the *bleep* happened to him.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Final day of the season.
Ajax and PSV both on level points fighting for the title. Ajax have the GD advantage.
Ajax bottling it right now. 1-1 with 25 minutes to go. PSV up 2-0.

Re: Eredivisie Thread
Ajax looooool, losing the title on the final day against the second-worst team in the league
Also have to go through the qualifiers now if they want to make it to the CL. A possibly very expensive bottle job.
