Re: Italian Serie A/Serie B 2013-14 Discussion
I never said there wasn't a difference. It's that the difference is marginal. Which makes it similar. I wasn't attempting anything, it just didn't seem like you knew what the word similar meant.Forza wrote:Despite your attempt at humour, I think it is relevant to say that this scoreline would've had the highest margin of any game if it was played last season. This is not a distinction without a difference.Albiceleste wrote:sim·i·lar [sim-uh-ler]Forza wrote:Nope.
Highest margins in Serie A last season:
Sampdoria 6–0 Pescara
Lazio 6–0 Bologna
And even then, those types of scorelines are quite rare in Serie A.
adjective
1. having a likeness or resemblance, especially in a general way
2. resembling without being identical

Cannot wait until Milan/Napoli tonight.
Milan looked terrible in mid-week but will surely have a stronger side out tonight.
With Juve, Inter, Roma, Fiorentina & Napoli starting so well this could be as competitive Serie A as we have seen in some time

They probably have the easiest game in midweek against Sassoulo(at home) so i think they should be able to make it 5 wins out of 5.

Only one game to look forward to in the midweek and that's Inter Fiorentina. I'm curious to see how will Roma do away to Sampdoria though.

Kudos to Roma for 4/4 and finally beating Lazio but I feel that their league standing might give some false hope. They had one of the easiest first games of the league, and with Sampdoria and Bologna next it looks to continue. That being said this points to a huge change in mentality, since Roma's problem has historically been losing games they should win.

Roma finally looks to be fulfilling their potential for success that never really occurred over the years. Great to see them successful again. Looks like they will, at the very least, achieve a Europa League spot.

And if it's not bad enough, it was Reina who saved itCasciavit wrote:Balo misses the 1st pen of his career.
Anyways he kinda jumped out like 1 meter from the line, ref should have called a re-take

Reminds me of when Ibra got suspended in 11/12
Although, Chiellini is like the Anti-Ibra anyway.

So much for this season, went down the gutter when 'coach' Berlu demanded the 4-3-1-2. Then Galliani added insult to injury by adding players we don't need/Better options available. The final blow was when everyone got injured in the span of a week.

Deserved suspension.
Atleast he should learn by now to not act like a brat anymore.
