Tevez looks extremely promising but I'm yet to judge him, considering his past problems.

Juve looking so strong.... Vidal is such a boss.... Tevez with that Fuerte Apache thing, so hes pretty much a hero back home?
Napoli looking great too, Higuain looking fit in already and they team looks a happy group so far?
This will be intersting season, and I hope Napoli or someone can make it hard for Juve for the title race.

Mole is such a hater, but again, what can u expect from a Newcastle fan..........
3/4 of Lazio's team would slot right in Newcastle's "team". Petkovic has won 2 titles with 2 different team. Who the ^{%+ is Pardew ffs???

Roma flying high after the win over Hellas Verona. Ljajic scoring on his debut. To be honest I havent seen so confident Roma for years. Also weirdly pacient at buildup.

43 goals in 10 matches this weekend, astonishing really!
Glad to see Rossi coming back finally, both Fiorentina and Napoli are looking dangerous title contenders.
To be honest, it looks like the gap between the top teams and mid/lowtable teams are getting bigger.

I won't get too carried away...we're expected to beat the likes of Livorno and Verona.
The first real test is the derby. Lazio's shat form and our good form can't be taken into account when that rolls around honestly.

scrub league and scrub defenders too. Emile Heskey would easily score 20 in that league

Re: Italian Serie A/Serie B 2013-14 Discussion
Great week for Serie A, but i wouldnt expect the goal tally to be this big all the time, especially that there was tons of defensive mistakes in almost every game i saw.
Starting with Juvi-Lazio, it's amazing how Lazio conceded the same goal 3 times. Of course Juvi did deliver some slick passing and equally impressive finishing (who would have thought) but Lazio's defense had a lot to do with the goals imo.
The same thing can be said about Chievo Napoli. Not only did Napoli concede two stupid goals but a couple of their goals came as a result of Chievo's non existent defending. Granted that Napoli has one of the most exciting forward lines in Serie A you can always expect them to outscore weaker opponents, but before they can be considered as title contenders they should sort out that leaky defensing and 'goal keeping'
As for Inter, it looks like we finally have an actual team. I hate to admit it but Mazzari has done a very good job so far. I wouldnt say that we are title contenders but a 3rd place finish looks more of a possibility with every passing game. The real test will be next game against Juvi so we'll see whether this optimism is justified or not. I was impressed by Alvarez as he continues to play like we expected him to when we signed him, but as special praise goes to Jonathan who went from being the worst starter in the history of Serie A to one of our best players in the last 2 weeks.
As for Milan, ive seen the goals and they all had one thing in common. Mario. That Balo dependence will sure hurt them but it could all change if Kaka delivers.
