Kaka dived for the free kick just before you scored your first goal... the crap that goes unnoticed, eh.
Anyway. Gerrard did not dive. It was an obvious penalty. With that said, it wasn't a red for Gattuso. I've seen the final like 50 times, Gattuso wasn't the last man. There were 2 players that restricted Gattuso being the last man.

The match that was fixed in 2002 with Italy and South Korea. Italy would have won the world cup that year in my opinion. Maldini would of had a world cup.

2006 WC final, I had big money on a 2-1 France win and France to win the cup, they couldnt manage that extra, and who would have thought Italy at the time with all their trouble would win it. France were underdogs too so would have been very proud as well as made big winnings

I love the "facts". I mean, we DID win the CL final after all.

Facts are that Gerrard and Dudek also cheated.

Le Samourai wrote:Spain - South Korea 2002 : My 2nd favorite Spain team of all time (after 2008). We could have won the World Cup that year.
Madrid - Alcorcon / Madrid-Lyon 2010 - Wins in these would have saved Pelle's job and give him some time to buy the players he actually wanted, leading to a period of dominance for us
France - Italy 2006 - France should have won.
Blue Barrett wrote:^France really should have won. I was rooting for them in that final. Materazzi remains a legendary c*nt.
McAgger wrote:Oh yeah I completely forgot the 2006 WC Final. France deserved that win.
Why do u guys think France "should" have won it though? Since I was praying for them to win, but I was so disappointed with them in the final. They proved everyone wrong prior to that and beat some very good teams, but the final was just poor. Both teams looked happy waiting for the penalties I was disgusted. France didnt to me played anything so good to be deserved and should win? Apart from Zidane at his best but it wasnt enough.
It was in the end WC of Italian defending.

I was a little kid but still remember Argentina got cheated by the ref for that WC right? 2 wrong penalty decisions by the awful ref!

Middlesbrough - Steaua Bucharest 4-2 UEFA Cup Semifinal 2nd leg wins it for me. Steaua was winning 3-1 on aggregate at half time (leading by 2-1) and then they had a horrific 2nd half and conceded 3 goals.
Honorable mentions:
Barcelona - Chelsea 2012 SF 2nd leg
Argentina - Germany 2006 WC QF (that Argentina team!!!)
Holland - Brazil 1998 WC SF and for that matter Holland - Italy 2000 EC SF (great generation of Dutch players, unlucky with those penalty kicks to get a shot at winning a major trophy)
Barcelona - Espanyol 2007

I mentioned this last week on the "comebacks" thread. I remember watching this game on TV and thought it was great. I believe Middlesbrough scored their last goal in the 92nd minute or something.

Gerrard and common sense don't go together.
