Yeah, basically if you're an advanced Midfielder and are having a particularly good season you evolve into a False 9 and your coach can do nothing about it.

You're getting angry because people don't agree with you. I'm looking at the analysis of the matches having actually watched them myself and it's clear Bale is playing the role of a SS.

His average position his central and more advanced than the striker at times!

I didn't literally mean false 9. I was just trying to use that alongside SS to say he wasn't exactly a pure striker. Just someone who was in a free role, went to the wings etc.

Bale isn't a false 9 anyway, since false 9's have to be creative as well. Just couldn't find a precise name for his position.

Anyway the conclusion is Bale was a SS/free roam/whatever last season, which is pretty much in the same category as a forward.

He wasn't a winger at least anyway, at least not for the entire season.

Bale actually isn't creative. He is merely intelligent in passing the ball from designated areas along with his crosses.

Yet calling him creative when a lot of his tendencies show that he is not, is grossly miscued.

As by this logic, Stewart Downing is creative as well.

His name doesn't have to be baledinho or bale hernandez to be creative

He creates quite a few chances for tottenham when i see them play..
