napoli and fiorentina's teams so far in my opinion are the only teams capable of challening Juventus. I think fiorentina and napoli are superior to Milan in terms of starting 11. Unless Milan get quality defensive re-inforcements they could well be replaced by fiorentina as a top 3 italian team next season. Fiorentina got Gomez napoli got Higuain both world class strikers if the system is built for them

Wayne Veysey is writing so much shit.Does he even know that the 42.3m wage deal is before taxes ? He just wants to show that Napoli offered more money which isnt the case imo.Tax rates in Italy is pretty high at almost 50%.

Its going be a 5 year contract worth 4.5m net per season with Higuain getting 50% of the share of the image rights for the first two seasons.Its pretty much the same salary as they were paying for Cavani.

I swear he might get Maradona-esque reception there.Its not like teams like Napoli sign 30m+ players everytime.

When i read that Higuain wants to go to a team where he can be loved and appreciated and when i saw Napoli links i immediately thought you cant get a better place where you want to be loved and cheered on but i never thought this transfer was possible though.

The ongoing discussion about Higuain's quality or flaming about his worth for Real Madrid are childish. He helped us win at least two la ligas and gave his 100% every time he was on the pitch. I don't know what his problem in CL was but he was never the focal point for Real Madrid. We hold him in high esteem because he is one of the integral parts of the club, he practicaly grew up  in RM.

As far as Cavani's qualities or Serie A overall goes, I think it remains to be seen whether Cavani will be able to replicate his exploits somewhere else. The quality of Serie A is really bad compared to 3-5 years ago. Threre's no denying it (CL seasons). A team with really crappy finishers manages to clinge the title (Juve) while the others reek of inconsistency. I'm sure Cavani is WC but he has to show it first somewhere else.

As far as Juve goes they had crappy finishers in CL and a Vucinic, the creator, who's got a whole pack of creative players behind him but can't hit an open barn to save his life. They bought Llorente and Tevez to compete for CL. Tevez is a has been who's got 1-2 years left at top flight footy while Llorente is a slowpoke targetman. Slow forwards never excelled in CL, look at Ibra, he is the best example. I predict Juve to fail again in quarter finals or earlier.

Anyway, good luck to Higgy, I'll always hold him in high regards. Make the haters eat humble pie
