I think they'll sign a DM and LB after this and close the market.Gonalons is the one who's been heavily linked for the DM position while i saw Kolarov links for LB position lately.

buying higuain to replace cavani will be a great move for Napoli, getting rid of their best/most important player and not replacing him with a player of similar caliber as others suggest would not be a good idea if they are serious about challenging the top spots.

I don't rate him as top class striker that's about it. Ibrahimovic is on the market and I am sure they could have gotten him for 20 mils, 3-4 mils more and you have Suarez ffs. Cavani is totally different player, players like him succeed in serie a because hs strong he can hold the ball and make space for himself, Higgy can't do that.

As a player I would definitely say they are the same level but then what they're both good at is completely different (one leaning more on the flair filled creative side and the other a goalscorer) . Vucinic has been the top striker for the best team in Italy and probably in the top 5 of Europe for two straight seasons so I would say at the very least he is at that level.

No, goalscoring terms Higuain is far ahead.

But Vucinic isn't the main man, he's a converted wide forward to excels in bringing teammates into the game, creating space and working with his back to goal.

So if you're naive enough to just compare goals then that's fine, but that's only really applicable if both players have that job.

It is overpay, in my opinion, but Napoli got their man so good for them. Really excited for Serie A this year, every team has seemed to improve this off season.

It makes sense for Napoli anyways, they're in the Champions League and they just sold their prized asset and club icon. Higuain will do well.

I really enjoy reading the Real Madrid fans slandering other clubs who are criticizing the move, defensive about a player who expressed his desire to play elsewhere and bounced around the interest of a few clubs before landing at Napoli for a fatter price than previously mentioned. I guess I would be proud too...

Oh by the way, Higuain who is apparantly far too good to be compared to Vucinic has 9 goals in 48 CL apps for RM

Meanwhile Vucinic has 10 goals in 35 apps, 13 of which he was subbed on.

You guys are forgetting that CR7 is the main target of all the attacks... our CFs are there for support and to get the scraps. Vucinic was the main target for Juve.

I would also venture to say that Juve's midfield was miles better than Madrid's.

Not everybody rates Higuain as some sort of fantastic world beater.

And that includes Real Madrid who 'made my son feel unwanted' in the words of Higuains Dad.

Face it, he's a very good, talented striker. But not on this elite level like people are suggesting here.

He's choked in big games all his RM life, not to say he hasn't had some good big game performances. But you'd expect that, he's also had plenty of terrible ones.

Cant compare Vucinic and Higuain.Both have different roles and the former is quite inconsistent too.

But that CL record of Vucinic is undeniable though

He's definitely not elite. But he is very very good. And he is better than Vucinic...

Vucinic is not the main target at all

He supported Matri or Giovinco, hence most of his work is normally drifting in or with his back to goal. Not to mention his link up play with Marchisio who makes the runs.

What I am trying to say all the time good player not World Class and not worth 37 mil, if he was Arsenal would have payed for him long ago
