Re: #6 - Thiago Alcántara
Great dribbler.
Have you guys seen Isco dribbling? that kid has the most awkward body in football, 180m, and his legs are probably the same length as messi

Do you mean that his playing style is awkward or just his body?

Re: #6 - Thiago Alcántara
Look guys it's obvious some of the Barca youth will make it. In particular Cuenca Thiago and Deulofeu will probably make it.
But Isco, Paco, and Bernat are going to be out of this world.

His body.
My type of player actually. 180cm, strong, can Dribble, Passing as best asset.

Thoughts so because I don't find him awkward at all when he is dribbling.
and imo the 3 best player in the u21 are thiago, isco and muniain

His body structure is very awkward, it's very weird, he has very short legs despite being quite tall. Like Messi with 10 more centimeters.
But his close control is ridiculous

I think Thiago can play many roles well and has done since I seen him in the first team.
DM, CM, LW, RW..played all 4 at one point or another and did so very well.

Yup, too much hype in the summer. People overreacted his PRE-SEASON games. I think of him as a squad player and doubt that he will become a starter in Barcelona. I can see him being sold in 4-5 years. For now, he is good legrester who ensures rest to superior Xavi, Iniesta and Cex. Nice legrester to have.

About the fact for Barca if he doesnt score he offers nothing? that part?
Because that is complete fact.

It's always hard to predict how good a player can become and the new generation of Spanish midfielders is absolutely outstanding by the way, isco, canales, muniain, thiago, ander and more coming... but i have to ask why, and what about is game makes you think he couldnt do it. I mean, a couple of years back, i thought both iniesta and xavi were interesting but now they stand as the absolute best in their roles, and compare extremely well against legends like Laudrup or Scholes.

He should do a Cex/Pique and leave Barca and return 3/4 years later.

It's true, it's always hard to predict how players will develop. However, IMO Thiago is on his way to be a superstar. He is as good as Iniesta was at 21 years old. He has all the technical and physical skills needed to be a superstar. What he is lacking is mostly tactical and mental, so he should improve it with experience and age.

Re: #6 - Thiago Alcántara
What?
I think he is really good in Barca midfield, barely makes mistakes and very good work rate defensively. He can even dribble throw center which is a rare skill for a CM.I think he is better than Fabregas as a CM easily,Thiago is tactically better too.I really dont know what he will become when he reach his peak years.Kid has Scary potential.

Yup, i dont get it either he has been great when ever he's played in what ever position he plays and he's played in many different positions.....
He is even outshone Xavi and Iniesta on some occasions which quite frankly is amazing. ( mind you did underperform greatly on those occasions)
I think people are seeing miss some easy chances and knee jerking harder than Sepi in his prime, but quite frankly despite what Fabregas fan boys will tell you but scoring goals isnt whats required of a CM.
He has been quite frankly been immaculate for his first season as a CM in Barca's midfield.
Best thing i can say about him, is he has'nt looked out of place. I really dont understand what all this sudden he's not good enough talk.
It's simply rubbish, he has been better than Xavi and Iniesta were at his age but he's not good enough?
bitch please.

Re: #6 - Thiago Alcántara
Meh, he'll end up being the Barca version of Fabregas.
Don't think he'll reach Xavi's level.
Will still be a great CM, though.

Thiago's ball after last night's hattrick. Says "Nos vemos en Manchester" (see you in Manchester).
F**k off Barca.
