How good / talented is Florian Thauvin?

Kept Bastia in Ligue 1 with the help of Landreau. Voted best young player over Varatti.

He started out very slow in U20 WC (like most of France NT)... but has looked a beast in the last 2-3 games.

He needs another year of seasoning in Ligue 1 and then i think he's a very good prospect. We'll see how far he goes. He has the great technique, so he could go far.

I can't say he would become a world class player like Neymar but they look same type of player. (not same level)

He's more like a Hazard type.

He is very good, if he continues to play the way he is playing righ now then surely a call up to the Senior national team is not far away. Anyway whats happening with his situation ??, he signed for Lille during January transfer window and now Marseille want to sign him when he hasn't even kicked a ball for Lille  

He signed to play under Rudi Garcia and his system specifically... when Rudi left, he got mad.  But i don't think Lille let him go.  Besides, Rene Girard is a very good offensive coach too.

He's going to battle Griezmann for senior team honors.  The threesome of Ribery/Benzema/Valbuena are well entrenched as starters and you have Payet, Menez, Griezmann, Alessandrini, Grenier, etc. fighting it out for backup spots for the non CF positions.  You also have Ben Arfa and Nasri somewhere out there lurking... but they would need to get into great form to get a shot.
