No one said he was going anywhere. No one said its a done deal and he's trying to leave Juve.

Once again, not agreeing with the OP is overreacting. Or not believing one of your players is for sale.

Overreacting would be something like

"LOL, why would he leave Juve. To win the Spanish cup? Pls go"

When the general posts from Juve fans look like that, then you have a point.

So far Juve fans saying he's staying put BY USING AN ACTUAL VIDAL QUOTE is not overreacting.

There have been Vidal - RM links, I posted what Vidal has actually said. And all of a sudden i'm taking the bait because i'm having a reasonable discussion.

Point is Marotta has absolutely zero say if the release clauses are met... he has no choice. Only thing here is that Madrid is allegedly offering a player in return as opposed to cash. That would require Juve to agree. But if Madrid laid down the 50 mil for both and both wanted to come to Madrid, Juve could do absolutely nothing about it.

As usual, I don't really think long term contracts mean anything. They just show you're committed for the time being.

In 1-2 years, he could easily move imo.

It does mean something though.Longer the contract,higher the value of the player especially this is a top player we're talking about.Say he dint extend(where his contract would've expired in 2015) he could've been got for much cheaper.

And Marotta just recently said that there wont be any buyout clauses for any of the top players so you have to take the the word of a guy who runs the day to day operations of this football club.
