Real Madrid On Arturo Vidal!
Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that Real Madrid have shown an interest in signing Arturo Vidal, but added that the 24-year-old is not for sale at any price.
The Liga leaders have supposedly earmarked the Chilean as the perfect addition to their midfield, and have already contacted his agent Fernando Felicevich to discuss a potential summer move.
Nevertheless, Juventus have made it clear that they have no intention to sell Vidal any time soon.
"It is true that Real Madrid have contacted his agent, but he is not for sale. I have made it clear to Felicevich, and indirectly to Madrid, that Vidal is not available, though," Marotta was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
"It's not a matter of negotiating a transfer fee. It's quite simple. Arturo is a key player for Juventus right now, and for the future. End of story."
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2011, and has since developed into a key player at the Serie A leaders. He has a contract until June 2016 with his current club.
Marotta just earned some more of my respect...

We will never stop until we win every competition.
We will spend millions and make even more. We will buy if we can.
Every fan in the world and every club has to deal with it.
We will because we can.

But there are always clubs who say "no" even to Real and pull through with it, too.huntsman wrote:We will never stop until we win every competition.

Exactly, this is the 21st century. Everyone has a price and money talks.
If we can, then we will. Deal with it.

It's a failure on our part. Next time, we will make sure we break both.

Of course. But in the end it's usually up to the player. If Vidal wants the move then it will be very hard for Juve to fight of the interest. Real Madrid always pays well so teams usually concede the player in the end but get well payed for them. And alot of players jizz their pants when F. Perez comes calling.
If I were Juve I'd request Higuain in exchange... Higuain now knows that he'll be second to Benzema when it matters and might very well request a move if given the right option.

Re: Real Madrid On Arturo Vidal!
Higuain can benefit Juve as they re the type of team that relies on poachers. They hoof / pass the ball to a poacher and cross their fingers that he will score.
I dont really know about this vidal bloke, but if he's really good, then i dont mind if Higuain leaves and we get him, he's a DM, right?

Re: Real Madrid On Arturo Vidal!
We also need a goalie, unless Iker Casillas shuts his mouth and stops back stabbing our manager. His job is to catch balls and / or stop them. He is in no way a capable captain. He doesnt posses the traits of a captain.
If the team was in a mini crisis (as in losing) and when they players are supposed to look upto their captain for advice, if i were one of the players, i wouldnt want to look upto Casillas.
Casillas can catch balls and that's that. Otherwise, he can gtfo, i dont want the best goalie in the universe, if he's going to destabilize my team. The damage that he can cause no matter how good he is might far exceed the good that he does in stopping a couple of goals in a game.
If we concede twice in a game against strong opponents because we dont have Casillas (let's say that's the case) then we will score 5 goals. No for destabilization and back stabbing!

Yes, Vidal is very good. Easily the best CM in Serie A after Pirlo.
And I'm pretty sure we won't be letting him go.

Re: Real Madrid On Arturo Vidal!
Pretty much this. Mostly depends on the player.paperbackwriter wrote:rwo power wrote:But there are always clubs who say "no" even to Real and pull through with it, too.huntsman wrote:We will never stop until we win every competition.

At least we are showing interest in a player we actually need and not a 40 million rated striker.
Would be a fantastic signing.

Re: Real Madrid On Arturo Vidal!
I hope Juve start putting silly transfer clauses in player contracts like ever other club does
If someone wants to buy Vidal be my guest.. But that will now cost you £65 million please.

Silly transfer clause = no clause at all...
If you have a 65 mill clause you can still sell him for less if you want, and if you don't have it they can offer 64 and you can still refuse the bid...
