he was such a beast. one of the very best players in the world at one point in my eyes.
but injuries really are taking him down..

his age is catching up, at his prime he was unstoppable He played more matches for lyon in his last 3 years then any other player did in ligue 1

he then played 145 odd matches in 3 seasons with chelsea, that was when, like nj said, he was one of the best player in the world.

but since then its all downhill, he is NOT 28 lol, probably 30 or older. I really hope he can come back stronger but injuries are really affecting his form. like last season for example

I honestly doubt we're going to completely stop our physical play because of AVB's arrival. Why abandon a tactic that worked so well in the past?

in my opinion if you bring one of fernando, moussa sissoko or lass diarra, you're back in business. but you still need creativity there..modric or sneijder would solve it.

Ramires and Mikel are comfortably better than all three of those players.

I seriously doubt that, i think this means we will be looking to sign more midfielders.

Oh please. He just wasn't good enough to take over Essien's spot and you don't need two destroyer mids. He is more than good enough for Chelsea since they run the 4-3-3. He isn't a great choice in a 4-2-3-1.
