Not his biggest fan, he is not the essien of before obviously, still struggles to influence games, not great at lb though thats not his fault. But was really good against dortmund, so hopefully that is a sign of things to come

Think he has been a fantastic sub for us, I hope we buy him. Much better than Lass and I think his LB performances has been down to Ronny not helping him thus creating 2v1 situations all the time

i agree, everyone has been so hard on him. has far exceeded my expectations.

he hasnt just been midfield cover (a sub) hes been absolutely decisive in the midfield and has done well to cover LB, despite the critics.

He's injured for like half a season every year.

Hopefully he recovers quickly and plays some matches before his loan ends.

The only only thing I wanted for him was to avoid getting injured and he cant even do that. Technically hes not very gifted too although Id take him over khedira anyday.

Let Camacho develop under Pellegrini please.

I hope Essien isn't actually out for the season, if he is we probably need to make a signing. It's either going to be a straight cover signing or it's going to be someone young with potential.

Sending Kaka on loan somewhere might be able to get us someone to hold the fort for the rest of the season.
